Sabezra Secret Santa Event Rules

It is preferable to have your gift finished and posted by December 25th, either in your timezone or your giftee's.

You are permitted to post your gift early, and you are also given a grace period of one week after Christmas to post your gift. If you have not finished your gift by the end of January 2, 2025, you will be disallowed from any further secret santa events or similar events from this blog for the next year and until you have completed your gift for this event.

If you can't finish your gift, contact me ASAP, and I'll start working on a backup gift so no one gets left out! It's no pressure if you can't finish and need to tap out, and you'll still get your gift, just make sure you let me know!

If you feel like you do not mesh well with your giftee, let me know as well and we'll work on a solution!

All gifts for this event must have a rating of T or below. Absolutely no NSFW content will be allowed in this event.

Also, while this is a Secret Santa, interactions with your giftee are highly encouraged! The easiest way to do this is to send an anonymous message, but if your giftee does not have anon asks turned on, send your messages to either this blog or @kazoosandfannypacks and we will relay your question for you, anonymously.

Though it is not required, all giftees are expected to reblog the gift their Santa makes for them.

Rules are subject to change as necessitated, but as long as we all respect each other and be kind, it'll be a good time for everyone!

Important annoucement!!

Hello guys! The Sabezra week admin team is here to give an important announcement regarding the dates for Sabezra week 2025.

After receiving a number of comments from community members pointing out the short time left until the Sabezra week and others suggesting if we could extend the date of the ship week, the admin team took these comments and suggestions into consideration, therefore it has been decided to move the date of the Sabezra week. That said,

Sabezra week 2025 will now run from Monday November 17 - Friday November 21!

We hope that the new dates will be to everyone’s liking. We cannot wait to see what you create. Prompts will be announced in the next few days…

My Sabezra Secret Santa gift for @meiloorunsmoothie.

They said they were good with anything, though specifically highlighted fanart. Normally I make Microhero pixels of certain characters, but seeing as this is the Christmas season, I decided to put in the extra work and try my hand at actual drawing. Probably shows that I should stick to pixels XD.

As far as content, Meiloo was in the mood for Sabezra in the Rebels era, as well as noting that Chopper is their favorite character. With this in mind, I decided to draw a scene at the very end of the drabble I wrote for Sabezra Life Day last year. Here, Chopper decides to be a sneaky little womp rat and get Ezra and Sabine stuck under the SW equivalent of mistletoe. Cue flustered teen rebels!

Sabezra Secret Santa 2024 Christmas Tree!

'Twas the night before Sabezra Secret Santa, and all across this website, all the santas were stirring, to finish their gift by tonight! When what to their wondering eyes should appear, but a tree decked by kazzy, to spread some good cheer!

As a little thank-you gift to all our participants, I made a special Christmas tree! Each ornament on the tree correlates to a different sabezra moment that each santa said was their favorite in an ask I sent them (see which one's yours under the cut ⬇️) and there's a little gift under the tree that maches the blog colors of each giftee 😁 Can't wait to see what gifts we're all gonna unwrap from each other this year 🧡💜

I want to thank everyone so much for participating, and I'm excited to see everyone's work! Remember, you can post any time between now and January 2!

How do we gift/post our gifts? Are we sending them directly to the giftee/posting them and just tagging the giftee?

Also are we allowed to post our works to sites like Ao3 if it is a fic? Or will that be up to the giftee?

It's really up to you. You can share your gift and tag them, or send it to them in an ask; either way is fine! Please don't send it as a direct message to them though, because we'd love to share it from this blog as well!

Also, you're definitely allowed to crosspost to archive, ffn, deviantart, or any other site! We may create a collection on ao3 for this event too.

And remember, though you're allowed to post your gift early, on Christmas Eve or Christmas day is preferable, and make sure it's posted before January 2!
