Hi, it's been awhile! I have some more fic prompts for you but this time it's a Harry Potter Edition! A lot of these will probably have dumbledore or snape Bashing with the regular amount of bashing for unredeemed antagonists. Although, there might be some molly bashing too.
Anyway, without further ado...
What if Harry Potter was raised by Tom the bar man? He could have a glamour or wear a bandana and have his eyesight fixed by magic!
What if Harry was raised by the Grangers after being abandoned at a muggle orphanage?
What if Harry Potter was raised by the Wood family and Oliver Wood is his big brother?
What if Rita Skeeter raised Harry Potter??
What if Harry Potter is raised or eventually lives with the Diggorys and Cedric is his big brother?
What if Remus Lupin raised Harry Potter? What if Harry was bitten by a werewolf (not Remus)?
What if Petunia and Vernon died on Halloween night instead? What if they weren't hateful people? What if they were watching Harry while James and Lily took Dudley to see if he was magical? What if Petunia let Lily put that same blood magic spell on her? What if the Potters raised Dudley??
What if McGonagall saved and adopted Harry? dumbledore cast a memory spell on both her and Hagrid to forget where Harry lived but since Hagrid is half giant it didn't take. So, McGonagall asked Hagrid where Harry was so she checkup on him and what she found made her livid. She destroys dumbledore and helps Harry destroy voldy.
Title? "Hogwarts Is My Home". Another, what if Minerva adopts Harry? But this time he's raised at Hogwarts with many of the staff like aunts and uncles especially Hagrid. Obligatory Snape bashing. dumbles bashing.
What if Harry is adopted by Hagrid and Minerva? He's raised at Hogwarts mostly. Hagrid and Minerva get together when Harry's little. She and the other teachers (who won't tell Albus) tutor Hagrid on things as he isn't allowed to continue his schooling (yet). Hagrid was expelled from Hogwarts in 1943. Headmaster Dippet, persuaded by Dumbledore, allowed Hagrid to stay on the grounds and train as gamekeeper. Hagrid served as an assistant to Ogg, the then-Keeper of Keys and Grounds until Ogg retired in the late 1960s. The family destroys dumbledore and voldy together.
What if the Dursleys are arrested after Dudley is sent to juvie and Harry is adopted by the Creevys?Big brother Harry!!
What if the Longbottoms weren't tortured to insanity? What if they raised Harry Potter alongside their son, Neville?
What if Neville Longbottom was the Boy-Who-Lived and Harry Potter’s parents got a one way ticket to the Janus Thickey Ward? Neville still goes to live with his gran but on the advice of dumbledore he isn't told of his fame until he turns eleven. He still doesn't show a great deal of accidental magic and everyone is really bewildered by it. Pettigrew betrayed his parents instead. Harry is still placed with the dursleys as Sirius Black did his best to try and kill bellatrix and those with her like barty crouch jr who frames him for the murder of muggles. Maybe??
What if Sirius Black broke out of Azkaban right after figuring out his animagus deterred the dementors?What if he immediately went to Gringotts for help as the Blacks are goblin friends and they don't adhere to Wix law? They contact Lord Black (his grandfather) for him.
What if Hermione Granger found a way to go back in time? You can call it "The Battle of Wits" if it's dumbledore Bashing.
What if during Harry Potter’s second year the Slytherins in the same year were absolutely fascinated and in awe of his ability as a parselmouth yet doubted he was the Heir of Slytherin? They ask if Harry is like, “You're not the Heir are you?” And he's like, “I don't think I'm related to Salazar Slytherin but I do know I didn't open any chamber. I don't know much about my family.” AND with this it spirals to them finding out he knows nothing about his family or history and was raised by muggles which they find quite abhorrent.
Creature fic: What if Harry is a peryton (a creature that appears to be a deer with wings) like his father was?
What if they had real familiars (creatures that can turn from animals or mythical creatures to humans) in Harry Potter?? A familiar is always older than their charge as they are guided but many aren't older than seven years, averagely they are at least three years older. Usually they have a sibling relationship, aunt/uncle one, best of friends, or a mentor situation but every so often there are the few who fall in love. Most families (or teachers who are alerted by families of muggleborns, muggle or squib raised children) test the worth of their claim, loyalty, and intentions. Also animagus can't talk in their form unless it's to another animal but familiars can. But animagi usually match or have similar forms with their familiar.
What if Lily put the blood protection spell on all three of them and even their Kneazle? What if voldy killed the poor pet while walking up to the steps so James survived as the Killing Curse rebounded? (Crack??) Or what if James’ sacrifice is what keeps Lily and Harry alive??
What if Dobby was a Potter Elf instead of a Malfoy one? What if he was the only one who came with them when they came into hiding as he is going to be Harry's personal elf. So on that night it goes one of three ways. One, he saves them all. Two, he pops away with Harry only coming to get Sirius. Three, he is the one that raises Harry himself with the other older elves assisting. They do let Remus know tho to stay and visit but he isn't allowed to live and help take care of Harry until he gets sober.
Harry Potter/MCU crossover: What if Tony Stark is isekai'd or transmigrated to Harry Potter? Where he becomes the muggle studies professor who helps make Zonkos products but also helpful inventions. He gets on the Wizengamot and one of the first things he does is make it legal to enchant muggle objects but illegal to sell them to unwitting muggles. He's seen as a Muggleborn in the wizarding world, is he famous in the muggle world??
What if the Golden Trio was Harry Potter, Neville Longbottom, and Susan Bones??
What if Harry went to Beauxbatons? Friends with Fleur?
What if Harry went to Durmstrang? Ride or dies with Viktor??
What if Harry Potter was a dark, manipulative wizard himself? Plays albus dumbledore at his own game, pretending to be the Golden Boy of Gryffindor while he very much was not. He loves most of the Weasleys excluding Ron(?), molly, and Ginny (Ginny's crush just makes him uncomfortable) while He loves the rest of them and Percy grows on him. He befriends Percy as Harry knows he's heading to the ministry.
What if the Harry Potter characters had past lives of BBC Merlin? Merlin (Emyrs): Harry Potter. Arthur Pendragon: Ron Weasley or Draco Malfoy. Morgana: Hermione Granger or Ginny? Gwaine & Lancelot: Fred and George.
What if the Black family was related to the Addams family? AND they snatch Harry up ignoring dumbledore as they know Siri would want them to watch over him on his extended vacation and that James Potter loved them. They think Sirius is having a grand old time in Azkaban and y'know what he can't even be mad about it bc he knows how they are. That was until they learned about the dementors and then they were rightly pissed. He also chose to stay there out of guilt of suggesting Peter as the secret keeper. Should he only be there for a couple years (or not even that long at all) until Gomez breaks in ?? Sic gorgiamus allos subjectatos nunc = We gladly feast on those who would subdue us. Morticia was a Black and married into the Addams family. The Addams used to love Belatrix but consent is a very important thing to the Addams and with the Blacks influence they know not everyone like pain and torture, know it's usually reserved for enemies. They don't like voldy and they quite liked the Longbottoms.
Another Black family being related to the Addams family fic: what if Sirius and Regulus are saved / kidnapped by the Addams?
What if the Potters are related to the Addams family who take Harry in? But they do so when he is ten as they didn't know what happened as the dumblewhore kept them from knowing. The Potters are related to the Addams, by the Peverells. James was much more spookier than people thought he just hid it away, keeping it close to his chest. Though he let those close to him know he wasn't the Golden Boy he pretended to be, as such it tended to be shown through his pranks.
ANOTHER Addams family/Harry Potter crossover. only this time is a Marauders fic. What if Pandora was Pubert Addams and obviously a trans girl bc FUCK jkr! When Sirius runs off to the Potters, Regulus runs off to the Addams family. As neither would be comfortable with the other family until they are more acquainted, when the two families are the Addams will move their house nearby for Regulus.
What if the Hogwarts houses actually acted like a family? Like no more turning on each other, poor Harry especially!
What if Harry Potter is raised by the goblins?
What if Filius Flitwick raised Harry Potter and was a part of the goblin nation?
