friends, you donāt understand. This ad campaign was goddamn HUGE. They bought out the entirety of multiple train stations in Boston with these. There are so many more, and theyāre all this same beautiful combination of questionable/amazing.
@octopippa this showed up in my dash and I know itās old but i couldnāt help reblogging and @ing sorry (;o;)
You are not sorry at all š
IVE NEVER RELATED TO SOMETHING SO MUCH
I donāt understand how thereās no Black Widow movie. A little girl being taught to be a spy from childhood. Destroying her youth and innocence and learning to kill. Competing against 27 other girls to stay alive. Being pushed to the breaking point morally, physically, and emotionally. Seeing The Red Room forge her into a weapon. The beginning of her career - assassinating diplomats, manipulating prisoners of Russia, outsmarting SHIELD. Backstory to Drakov, Sal Paulo, the hospital fire, and Budapest. And then a rookie SHIELD agent has her in sight on his scopes. His finger is in the trigger, but he hesitates. She looks scared. She looks tired. She looks like a fighter. So, he brings her in, and takes her under his wing. From a child assassin to a Russian defector. And they could throw Bucky and Yelena in there, along with Clint and Fury, and maybe even a Peggy Carter/Dottie Underwood Red Room origin story.
Like, who heard that and went - āno, Iām gonna go with Spiderman for the third time, and this guy who can talk to antsā?!

Reblog if you're far away from someone and you want to hug them SO BAD.
How people treat sexual orientation, as explained with furniture.
Heterosexuality is a couch. Nobody even bats an eye if you keep it in the living room for everyone to seeāitās simply expected. I mean, where the hell else would you keep it? Hidden in a bedroom? No, that would be weird.
Homosexuality is a bed. Having a bed in a public room is considered weird and grossāyouāre expected to keep it in private bedroom you close the door to before anyone else comes over. Because even though there are a million and one things someone can do sitting on a bed that arenāt sexual (and plenty of ways to have sex on a couch), the first and foremost thing anyone associates beds with is sex.
Bisexuality is a Western-style futon. Sometimes it functions like a couch, sometimes it functions like a bed, but whichever position itās in at the moment, itās still a goddamn futon. People who want to use it as a couch give you shit for not having a real couch; people who want to use it as a bed give you shit for not having a real bed. Itās acceptable in your living room, but only if you make extra certain to put it in couch position and hide the sheets before company comes over. Otherwise, youād better hide it in a guest room.
Asexuality is a table. No matter how many times you tell people itās not meant to be sat on, dickheads with no manners will try to park their nasty asses on it anyway.

Okay but after seeing this I started doing it too and itās amazing how many men Iāve run into bc they expected me to move
Gotta try it
I work (and walk) on a college campus. Iāve lost count of how many men Iāve smacked shoulders with.
Recently, I was standing outside my sonās classroom waiting to talk to his teacher. I stood on one side of the hallway, not even close to the center. At some point, a man came walking along. I was standing right in his path, but the hallway was empty, so I logically expected him to swerve around me. Instead he kept walking right toward me, got to me, and stopped, as if waiting for me to get out of his way. I didnāt; I just smiled politely at him. He finally walked around me, clearly annoyed that I hadnāt leapt out of his manly path.
Now Iām wishing Iād leapt aside, taken off my jacket and laid it on the floor before him, then bowed deeply and said, āMy Liege!ā
I also work at a college campus. I smack shoulders sometimes, but I find that if I stare straight ahead and follow the advice below, people get the heck out of the way.
Honestly this post changed how I carry myself when walking alone in public, or in a situation where Iām the one leading. People definitely move for the murder gaze.
Confirmed. I once had to rush back inside a convention hall as the con was closing in order to a retrieve a sick friendās medication, and I didnāt understand why people in the crowd were jumping out of my way (literallyāone guy vaulted a table) until I realized I was dressed as the Winter Soldier and doing the Murder Walk because thatās just how I walk in those boots. I got the meds, got out, and made a mental note.
I repeated the experiment later, wearing the boots but otherwise my usual clothing and mimicking the expression I thought Iād had at that moment. People parted like I was Charlton Heston.
I now wear that style of boots whenever possible. I recently had a man do a double-take as I walked by and ask me, politely, where I had served because I ālooked like a soldier.ā Iām not current or former military. I was wearing a flowy purple peasant top and looked as un-soldierlike as possible.
Moral of the story: wear comfortable shoes, square your shoulders, and walk like youāve been sent to murder Captain America.
WALK LIKE YOUāVE BEEN SENT TO MURDER CAPTAIN AMERICA
