@scaryorganmusic Before I reblog it again and keep up the prev tags chain, season 8 began with Sam hitting a dog and that’s why he goes so hard in the trials and cried about purity and atoning for sins. Inciting incident. That dog hit his windshield and suddenly he was a fresh faced college kid with hidden evil powers and a dead bird on his window sill.

In the end when Sam finds out it was Dean he’s mad for like an episode before he’s like ‘actually those birds are still dead because of me:( if I had just went back to u and dad you never would have had to kill them:( I’m sorry:(‘ and dean would be like yeah exactly
