The last time you felt broken?

“I think I’m quite lucky to not have had horrible things happen to me, so I don’t think broken necessarily fits how I’ve ever felt. I’m generally happy, but I do worry more than I’d like to.

I get scared about needing to give up music to keep my apartment. But what scares me even more is losing Logan and ever since I realised what his father is capable of, I have felt bad and afraid about that.”

Do you want to get married?

“I never thought I’d feel much for marriage. I don’t think a piece of paper would add how I feel about someone, but now I’ve found someone I don’t want to lose and I would really like to celebrate being with him. So yes, I would like to get married.”

Road Trip

Sam was glad he’d found someone who could travel with him, someone who seemed a hell of a lot of fun too. He’d only known him for a week or so before they decided on the date and location.

Gary picked Sam up at his apartment and they’d loaded the car with the necessities. Clean clothes, sleeping bags, a tent, airbeds and enough food to get them through the long journeys and of course Sam had taken his guitar along and enough CD’s to get them through the trip. Sam had the idea they’d have quite a lot in common and he was curious to find out about that, but he wasn’t too worried. He got along with pretty much anyone anyway.
