I’ve been trying to figure it out for a few years and with my limited mermaid knowledge, I’ve been stumped. This year in preparation for my possible participation, I’ve been doing some research to learn more about mermaids. I figured some of the resources I’ve found might be helpful to some of you so decided to create this list.

On this date, 60 years ago, The Everly Brothers appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show in their full Marine uniforms (complete with short hair!). Don and Phil flew to Miami while on a weekend leave after graduating from boot camp in San Diego to perform Crying in the Rain and Jezebel.

After the performance, Sullivan commented on how Don had gained 20 pounds during boot camp and asked the audience to give them an extra round of applause before sending them back to the west coast.
