I wanted to draw them like this —not broken.Not fighting.Just choosing each other.

All the illustrations before it were dark, heavy, full of night —

and this one is different.

It is about the end of war.

About the beginning of another road.

War never leaves anyone unchanged.

It marks people with scars — some visible, some hidden, some that never fade.

But even with those scars, life must continue.

You have to keep walking.

You have to choose the road forward.

Every storm ends eventually.

Every darkness thins.

And at some point, light returns.

This story matters deeply to me because it is not about glorious battles or heroic spectacle.

It does not pretend that war is easy, or exciting, or noble.

It is about broken lives.

About the quiet weight war leaves behind — even far from the front lines.

I wish wars existed only in books.

Not only stories about heroism, but stories about what war truly takes from people —

including those who seem protected, yet still carry its burden.

There is a war in my country right now.

And I hold onto the hope that one day it will end.

That suffering will stop.

That the sky above my home will be blue again —

a peaceful sky.

This illustration is my way of holding onto that hope.
