Hey I wanted to come on here and update you guys quick, honestly a lot of stuff has happened in the past month or two. I was broken up with, I dropped out of college, I hit my lowest, I almost left this world again. I started a new job, I saw Will wood twice in one weekend, I turned 19, I stopped talking to someone I thought was my best friend, I have almost finished a journal, Iām looking into therapy.
Im learning a lot. Im learning I still canāt walk to the river without feeling the need to let myself sink to the bottom, but I can walk along the creek and the quiet isnāt so suffocating. Iām learning that I love the feeling of crying to my mother, that I love meeting new people. Im learning that I am passionate about crafts and nature and that live music makes me feel alive. Im learning that feelings are scary but need to be faced. Iām learning that I am not the only person who canāt get out of their head.
I know thereās not a lot of people who follow me or will see this, but Iāve found feeling seen very comforting the past few weeks, even if itās a hard thing to do. So to anyone who needs this, please stay. Life is hard, and it isnāt going to always be easy, and Iām not gonna promise it will be easier today or tomorrow or next week. But if you can find one small thing a day that makes you smile, if you can find a conversation, a picture, a person, or an activity that makes breathing a little bit easier, please lean into it. There are still new people to meet, places to see, stars to map.
