Hi, Rin here! Ju and I are both pretty busy at the moment but if we have time, one of us (or both) will translate. I can't really give any promises it will be done though or if one of us has time to translate, it might be slow.

WE’RE NOT DEAD YET - I’m dead serious.

But really we’re NOT dead yet. 

Quick updates about us anyway: 

- I want to make a congratulatory announcement for our dearest commanderrin for her happy and most fluffy move to Japan! <3

- We’re mostly pretty busy with real life and I’m serious even though you might all be thinking ‘But you’re mostly on the computer though so how is it updating on tumblr regularly is gonna be any different’. Uhhh well Tumblr doesn’t have to be the one place we’re regularly busy with, right? That and also we’re multi-taskers so that implies as well that Tumblr doesn’t usually come even 40% of the attention cycle really. That being said, otome playing has also but down cut to minimum attention span. 

- But we will be updating and regulating this blog. We’ve had talks about what we’d be doing with this blog on a later time. We just need a little more time to balance and adjust with life and priorities outside of Tumblr. 

- If you’re expecting more translations mainly from my lovely duo that made us together the amazing trio (huehue), I leave it up to them mostly on the updates on that but on their behalf, I want to still say there’ll be translations coming up just on a later update XD 

- We’re still contactable through tumblr. 

- Personally from me, I’m getting kinda semi-active on tumblr but still semi-hiatus. Of course I’m mainly around in my main/personal blog but I do check around here and my other sideblogs. 

- Got anything to ask? Don’t hesitate to message. \O/

Oooooohhhhhh interesting choices! I definitely get what you mean with Jiyeon. I felt the same. I probably have to go with Jihae at the moment for Dandelion since I’m on his route on my third playthrough because I like the whole ‘my lady’ business haha (but Jisoo was my number one). 

For Nameless, I think I have a soft spot for Lance. It’s not as dark as other routes but the whole background story with Lance is nice. Tei’s though and Yeonho’s. ToT

They all break my heart xD

Edit: I’m thinking of Yeonho’s and I’m actually feeling teary-eyed.

Nameless review (sort of)

I've taken a long break from otome games but decided to finally play Nameless: The one thing you must recall by Cheritz because I pre-ordered it but never got round to playing it until yesterday. 

I might do a longer review on it and maybe break it down to separate routes but if you want to play a game that will make you feel like a terrible person afterwards then this is it. I was already bracing myself for it considering I cried when I played Dandelion and whilst Nameless didn't make me cry as much, it definitely broke my heart.  

It does deal with darker themes (especially during the bad ending routes) so if you're the type that likes their otome games to be more fluffy, I don't recommend it but I can definitely say that it is a very well done game. If you've already played Dandelion then nothing in Nameless would be all that shocking to you.

Reaction to: Ota's Route in 'Allure of Chocolate' spin off...

Mind you, this is the first time in history of enjoying Valentine's day stories, and precisely in my Otome gaming history have I EVER been this pissed about a route that is supposingly romantic to me but turned out downright twisted...to me.

I don't know about you guys when you play through his Valentine's Day route but goddamn I'm so angry. I think I wouldn't be this steam if I played Eisuke's and expected something wicked different but Ota's..omg Ota's really killed it for me. 

Anyway, just a personal opinion. I still like Ota, I really do. 

Just...not in this Valentine's Day/Allure of Chocolate route. 

Just...no no. 

Ota, in this route it's just...you know; 

Brb while I go wallow in my sorrow of how this route turned out. 

T__T On the contrary, I really love Soryu's route actually. Always play his route first in any substory cause he's my biggest bias from KBTBB but now I don't mind replaying his route again to recover from rage.

Comments on some 10DWMD MS epilogues (Kakeru, Shiki, Haruhito)

Also omgggg, Hakuoki came to smartphoneeee /rolls around

Kakeru's epilogue

Lovely if you like Kakeru because you get to see him being lovey dovey and a doting uncle and cute and getting embarrassed and a bit frisky in the office and jelly but painful if you also like Shiki T_T NO, could you at least not rub this love triangle in my face in the epilogue, NNOO. Ughh, cute Shiki. At one point he even says it's hard on him because he also likes Kakeru. ;w;;;;

You also get to see Satoru attempting to cheer him up in an unorthodox way and Shiki going *DO NOT WANT* xD

The otherwise sweet ending with Kakeru I couldn't really fully enjoy because of my pain for Shikiiii. But that's just me.

Shiki's epilogue

It's cute, really cute!! MC was maybe cute too, but I'm blinded by my Shiki bias, so. It was also cute seeing Kakeru spoiling Shiki a bit, too, hehe. And everyone else in the gang sighing and making faces at him for being soft on Shiki. XD

So MC's not tooo happy because she's all What am I to Shiki, really? Are we really even going out? Due to the lack of an intimate physical relationship - MC you could have just asked him about it or tried initiating something yourself but okay.

Mmm, mmmm, I can't think of what more to say without spoiling it. Sorry, I really am not good at these things T_T And maybe it's also because of a problem I have, which is if I find someone too moe then I just see everything as "CUTEE" XD

Haruhito's epilogue

It was really sweet. Especially when he told her what he loved about her and what his wish was. ;w;

It's a nice change to those guys who are all *LISTS ALL YOUR FAULTS* yeah but that's the person I love. Yes it's nice that they love you knoowing all that but just sincerely honest and loving things withoooout the faults being rubbed in is nice once in awhileee.

The epilogue started off realistic - MC's had to economise expenses since she has to support herself and Haruhito. Haruhito, space astronaut as always but also as attentive as ever notices this and jumps on the opportunity to get a job.

It's so sweet that even though he has to get up quite early he still makes sure to set aside time to make her breakfast ;w; Awww

The ending was sweet but if I say anything that'll spoil it! >w<

Ohh, about his sequel, though. I heard from a friend that the MC was quite passive in it. Like just agreeing with him or saying she'd go with him as he walked his path? I mean supporting someone is a really great thing in itself, but hmm. And also that the plot didn't reaally get resolved/tied up nicely??

But Haruhito was so sweet (4th time I've used this word here but seriously jadklfjg) in this epilogue that I'll grab the sequel next time there's a sale, anyway. xD

Concluding comments

Love, loooved the epilogues, if you like the characters but were maybe hesitating because of the price vs length of the epilogues, if there's a sale, definitely grab them!! :D They really show the care and attention the characters have for MC.

My turnnnnn! Hello 2015!

I don't have much to say this time and that's unusual coming from me since I'm usually pretty rambly to the point of annoying. 

But there's some changes, well for me that is; I won't be frequenting tumblr as much - mainly my personal blog but only browsing through my dash. Because despite many unhappy things, I followed some wonderful helpful reference, resource, writing blogs and many other bloggers including these two with me here (Ju and Charl) so I don't have the heart to entirely leave.

I'll still occasionally be posting some Voltage and any Otome related posts! And like Ju said on her part, I might also write some of my take on insights to do with otome; either it be Voltage or others.

Genji's POV sub-story

Okay so it'd been quite a long time since I've played Genji's MS, but I do remember the sequence of events. I also remember my reaction at the end events.

Gen: Isn't it obvious I came here to confess!?

Me: You- What? NO? WHERE'D THAT COME FROM?

My overall impression of him was that he is an actual 30 year old brat! Spoilt and does whatever he wants selfishly and without much thought for others and just drags MC along, so I wasn't at all big on proceeding with his sequels.

But! I gave his POV a try and wow, is it enlightening! XD

"So THAT'S what he was thinking when he was doing that?? That's his reasoning??"

He pays attention and is aware of MC's moods and changes in expression. When he does things such as whisking her away suddenly, it's to try make her happy, to take her away from what's making her feel down.

Now usually you'd kinda be able to tell but GEN here acts all high and mighty and demanding and selfish about it that it's easy to miss!

One time MC was feeling upset, I was right there along with Gen going: "Umm.. I'm confused too, what is she upset about? (I forgot this from the MS!)"

Communication, guys. Kinda important.

Gen: I bet she hates me now and doesn't want to see me anymore, anyway

Me: APOLOGISING DOESN'T EVEN CROSS YOUR MIND? GEN, SRSLY.

Gen's assumptive, prideful and still very much a butthead, but from this POV you can see how he really cares for MC and really does want her to be happy. I'm willing to give his sequel a try, now!

You're laughing. But you know, it's your fault. Understand? It's fine if you just look at me and don't look at other guys. Absolutely! Got it? Hm? "Of course"... If you say that type of thing honestly with a matter-of-fact face, that, it makes me really happy, but. W-well. Thanks. Geez, this time I got jealous but I won't anymore! But listen up. Because I'll only say this now. In the future, maybe there'll be other guys who say they like you, but don't think that their "like" is the same "like" I say to you. My "like" is a hundred times, one thousand times, ten thousand times more, you hear! Eh? You don't need anyone except me? Wait a- That's- Saying cute things unconsciously is not allowed! You! I'll starting wanting to kiss you. Even if you get embarrassed, it's too late. It's because you're too adorable that I have to kiss you.

End of the year post!

Hey everyone!

Just a few minutes left of 2014 where I live and wanted to post an update on things before the new year.

Firstly, welcome and love to new followers and the ones that are still with us :) It's been said a few times but, sorry! To repeat it once more, sorry for the lack of updates but you'll definitely been seeing posts from me. This time, I mean it!

I'm going to start off the year with Kanata's translated track 10 :) And hope to get them all done before I'm back to uni!

There'll also be some comments about some Voltage stories. (I can hardly call them reviews, also I cannot summarise things for the life of me)

I hope everyone's had a lovely, fun or/and relaxing end of the year, and if that wasn't the case, then I hope the best for you for the new year.
