writing this with an allo sanji in mind but might revisit with an aro sanji in mind... later...

i think it would mostly consist of TALKING it out and setting boundaries and what not. he's a very lovey dovey romance guy and a bit old with his approach to relationships. QPRs are new to him so be patient with him. he'll do his best to be the best partner

he'll respect whether you are okay with kissing or not! he would never want to make you uncomfortable especially if youre romance repulsed

if youre romance repulsed, he'll tone down the lovey dovey act for you and act more normal

when sanji wants a kiss or to do something romantic, like badly, he'll ask you first. if you let him, he'll be happy and do it but make sure you're okay. he'll constantly check in because he doesn't want to upset you and you'll have to reassure him that it's okay and tell him to not feel guilty. if you say no, he'll let you be although he will be a bit sad since he enjoys doing romantic things with you. he wont push though. he can take no for an answer

if youre a man or masc aligned, it will be easier for sanji to settle into the dynamic of your QPR. i dont think much will change in the way he treats you. he will prefer you a lot more than the other men, that would be obvious. he will also be softer with you, but always deny it when someone but you points it out

if youre a woman or fem aligned, it will take him some time to relearn that intimacy and unconditional love and partnership isn't just found through romantic relationships. he always had this idea that to have this deep bond with someone, romance had to be involved, and often women were part of that dream. he will respect your boundaries, it just that it takes time for him to understand that it is a QPR and not a romantic relationship because his brain keeps going woman = romance.
