so small lil explanation as to why i was gone:
idk if any of you saw my post about my fall at work... but apparently it was a lot worse than i thought. i turned out to have a concussion, adding onto the rolled ankle that i had as well. i decided that it was best to take time off of all social medias since for 1) my doctor told me that electronics were a no no 2) i was experiencing a major writerâs block at the same time. i tried to come on here a few times to give an explanation, but haha turns out i got locked out of my account and i literally just now was able to log back in đ
then come to find out... all my drafts had been deleted including the upcoming parts of âto all the boys iâve loved beforeâ so now i need to rewrite and recreate everything. so all upcoming parts should slowly be posted by the end of this week~
another thing is, second semester has been a pain in the ass recently. so my everyday posts probably wonât be a thing anymore since i literally donât have the mind capacity to do that anymore đ unless i have an easy week and my mind is feeling creative :)

âwelcome to tokyo japanâ you hear the pilot say over the planeâs speaker. peeking out the small window by your seat and smile. it had been a long year for you away from home, and you were finally back home to spend time with your family. when allowed to exit the plane, you rushed out to call your brother who had brought you home as a surprise for your parents.
âyou got off the plane?â iizuna asks. you roll your eyes at the question.
âno hoe iâm stranded on an island and somehow had cellular data to call you. of course i got off the plane.â the silence that you were met with in response made you look at your phone oddly to make sure he hadnât hung up. bringing your phone up back to your ear, you hear your brother sigh.
âi donât even know why i brought you home. i shouldâve left you in new york. anyways, call me when you get to the quarantine facility. iâll see if i can sneak you some food or something when youâre there. i donât think you can handle being alone and eating the same three foods everyday for a day, let alone two weeks.â you shake your head.
âshut up of course i can get through the quarantine. you just see. iâm ending the call, i need to get my bag and go.â you say before hanging up. looking around for the baggage claim area, you spot it easily. making your way over to the area, you wait patiently. scrolling through your phone for a few moments until you finally see the carousel move.
spotting a familiar black luggage, you move to grab it. right as you were about to grab the handle, another hand takes the handle. retracting your arm, you look up to see the person who had taken your luggage.
âah i appreciate the gesture, you didnât need to help me.â you say to the person. making eye contact with the dark haired boy, you smile. his eyebrows furrow in confusion.
âuhm, sorry but this is my bag. i wasnât helping you.â he says. you look at the bag and back to the boy. the bag had the same charm that your brother had given you before you left. pointing at the charm, both of your eyes move towards the small item.
âthat charm. itâs mine. which means, itâs mine. i think your bag might be similar, so you mustâve been mistaken.â you say tugging the bag in your direction. the dark haired boy shakes his head.

âthis yours still?â you ask closing the case. the boy stands up and looks away. staying silent. he spots an identical luggage and walks over to pick it up. hanging his head low, he mutters a sorry right when he passes you. you roll your eye and make your way to where the shuttle for you was.
making your way in the bus, you look for an empty. spotting one immediately in the front. however stopping in your tracks, you see who it was beside. (*ofc 6 feet apart though, social distancing ladies and gentlemen <3) you sigh but still made your way to the empty seat.
âwe meet again.â you say trying to make conversation. the boy looks at you before looking away and nodding.
this time you were able to get a better look at the boy. familiar dark curls, dark eyes, and two beauty marks.
âwait. sakusa kiyoomi?â you ask looking at your brotherâs former teammate. looking over at you, he nods.

when the bus finally arrived at the quarantine facility, you hopped off the bus quickly. as everyone else made their way to the entrance, a facility worker who was to assign the rooms approached the small group of people who you were with.
âas you all know. each one of you is to stay in this building for two weeks. exiting is prohibited unless it is within the premises of this area. right now, rooms are limited and you will be staying with another person within this group. everything you do will be traced as you are in the process of quarantining. food and drinks will be provided for you, along with other necessities. family members, visitors, friends, and etc are prohibited from entering this facility. once two weeks is over, you will be allowed to leave after you have tested negative. now onto the room assignments.â tuning out the worker, you waited to hear your name to be called out.
â... sakusa kiyoomi and y/n l/n. the two of you will be paired up in room 213. you may head off now.â frozen in your position, you stood there trying to process what the worker had just said. not you and sakusa. you would rather have any other person to spare you of any more awkward interactions. throwing your head back and groaning, you wanted to object.
pushing back all thoughts of objection, you grew a pair and just moved on. walking into the building, you hear sakusaâs footsteps follow you. quickly finding your room, you slowly open the door and peek in. pausing as you see the size of your room, you canât even register how you can stay here for two weeks with another person.
sakusa peeks his head over your shoulder to see what caused you to freeze. his eyes widen at the room size and makes his way in. as soon as he takes his shoes off, he circles the small area a few times trying to register as well.
âno. this cannot be happening right now. i refuse to believe this. i can barely stand up straight without touching the ceiling. i cannot even stretch out my arms without bumping into something. this is too small. theyâre playing a prank on us right? this canât be real. is this even sanitary?â sakusa complains. you stand there silently contemplating what you should do. stepping inside the small room you take a deep breath and try your best to make it work with what you have.
âlet me unpack and then iâll see what i can do.â you say looking over at sakusa who was now plopped on the bed.
âi call the bed. take the floor, we can see if they can find a way to fit us into a bigger room or something tomorrow. iâm too jet lagged to do this right now.â sakusa says into the pillow. you stare at sakusa with an annoyed look. did he just tell you to take the floor to sleep? rolling your eyes, you went to the small closet area to unpack.
âjust my fucking luck i get paired up with someone like him. couldnât i have been given some grandma or middle aged woman?â you ask yourself.
âi can hear you, you know.â sakusa says propping his head up with his arm as he watches you unpack.
âjust two weeks y/n. breathe. itâs not going to be that bad.â you think to yourself. ignoring him, you proceed with what you were doing prior. piling all of your belongings in designated piles. you created sort of a mess, but you would clean it up once you were done.
over the course of 10 minutes, sakusaâs comments were thrown at you nonstop. criticizing your actions every five seconds. you being the bigger person decide to stay quiet and not pick a fight despite the irritating words bothering you.
âcanât you be a little more neater. those blobs are killing me.â sakusa says to you. you clench the towel that was in your hand.
âmum iâm going to try my best and not beat this lil (not so little) bitch upâ you say in your head. getting frustrated, you throw the towel at sakusaâs face. sakusa catches the towel right before it was going to touch his face and glared at you.
âcan you stop making all these unnecessary comments? i know we arenât in the ideal situation right now, but my patience is close to being gone and you arenât helping. just shut up. please. iâll clean everything up once iâm done.â you stand up from your seated position and walk into the restroom to calm yourself down.
taking a deep breath in, you stood in front of the mirror and let the water run. youâve got to ask for a switch in roommates. swinging the door open a few minutes later, you are met with sakusa kneeling down and organizing your piles. you look at him oddly for a few seconds before thinking how cute he looked.
okay y/n first you say you are getting irritated with the boy and now youâre saying heâs cute. pick a struggle.
making your way over to help him, you hear him say something under his breath.
âiâm sorry.â you freeze in your spot. did sakusa just apologize?
âcan you say that again? i didnât hear you.â
âi know you heard me, you just want me to repeat it for your pleasure.â he says looking at you.

as you were about to grab the last item left to organize, sakusaâs hand grazed yours and out of instinct you pulled it back.
heat rushed to your cheeks. bringing the backside of your palm to your cheeks, you tried cooling down.
âare you alright?â sakusa asks as he notices your flushed cheeks. nodding, you get up to move over to the floor to set up your bed for the next two weeks.
âdid i do something wrong? why do i feel a shift in the mood all of a sudden?â sakusa thinks to himself. watching you set up your floor bed, sakusa just shrugs before heading into the restroom to get ready to sleep.
coming out of the restroom, sakusa sees you already asleep on the floor next to the bed. he canât help but stare at your calm state.
âi was joking when i told them to sleep on the floor, oh my god. i mustâve sounded so rude when i said that.â sakusa says to himself, as he approaches you. he bends down to pick you up and move you towards the bed. careful to not wake you up.
after placing you on the bed, he walks over to the opposite side and lays down. propping one arm up to hold his head, sakusa continues to watch you. taking in small little details of you.
âi donât think these two weeks will too bad actually.â sakusa says quietly.
âwould it be weird if i asked them out? should i ask iizuna? or nah, donât even think about it kiyoomi.â
stirring in your sleep, you roll onto your side facing sakusa. placing your forehead on his chest, sakusa freezes.
âyouâre so stiff. loosen up a bit, itâs really uncomfortable.â you say, causing sakusa to widen his eyes.
âyouâre awake?â he asks you.
âyou arenât as quiet as you think you are.â you say laughing softly. sakusa drops his arm and places his head into the pillow.
âand yeah it would be weird to ask me out. but that doesnât mean i wouldnât say no.â you say smiling. sakusaâs head pipes up at your comment. looking at you, he smiles at you before taking his arms and wrapping them around you to pull you closer.
maybe these two weeks werenât going to be as bad as you thought.
