I dunno what to put heres but I'm 25, Hispanic, use she/they, kinda an artist, but I ain't very good- I may swear a couple of times (mostly in tags), so it's mostly pg-13 around these parts. I hopped on tomodachi life today after the news and within the span of 5 minutes my mii got divorced and started dating Miijumper (mii moonjumper)

I've been thinking about making a game where a Human and Robloxian team up to find out why their worlds are bleeding together and where a lot of monsters coming from these intergalactic rifts are coming from.

Gameplay would center around "buddy mechanics" and "buddy combat", with some lulls and other missions off to the side.

The "buddy mechanics" would feature puzzle problem solving, teamwork actions, and co-op rewards for those who pair up with their little Robloxian buddy.

The "buddy combat" would feature like the Mario Bros attacks from the Mario and Luigi game series. The Human would perform more powerful "big buddy attacks" at the cost a lot more energy and their function would be keyboard or movement inputs.

Likewise, their smaller Robloxian companion would do "little buddy attacks", in which they are thrown into combat by their human friend and their abilities require timing to do more damage. The more precise you time it, the higher damage and critical hits you can perform. They can also do multi-attacks!

In their own world, the Human and Robloxian work together to fight off invading rift monsters, save the admins, and return Robloxia back to normal--while also finding out who is behind the rifts ripping across time and space!

Idk, I just wanted to splurge a little idea I had for a game.

Interviewing some animators for potential commissions to see about giving these two some "concept" interactions that they would do.

Pretty cool and hopefully I will see them interact in the way that I imagine them pretty soon! <: D

I find it interesting how Newton just has a carving of his parents hidden in his lair. Why would he have this? Well, notice how, unlike Newton's other sculptures or robots which are usually a bit uncanny, this one seems to have been made with more care. Like it was a more passionate creation. I'm not fully sure what it could mean. Maybe he misses his parents? Maybe it's him yearning for Captain Pud to come home? Maybe his parents aren't on good terms anymore and he's reminiscing about better times when they were together. Happier times. Idk.

This is something I genuinely keep thinking about, even after years of not being active in the lbp community

What I personally think is that even in his crazed, power hungry state, Newton probably just wants the love and approval of his parents. With most of who knew him before the titan fiasco, he was looked down upon since he didn't end up a creative genius like his folk.

But in the end, all he wanted was to be something big like his parents, moreso his dad (considering how he calls him by more affectionate titles than his mother)

Maybe the statue is his POV of, dispite the mayhem, his parents saying how proud they are of him. </3
