And the 5'9" thing is way off, he's much closer in height to Henry. (I'm inclined to think that 5'11 3/4" is correct.)

He's also not actually that slender compared to Henry, he's fairly broad-shouldered, and he's a hairy lad, have you seen that chest? Basically, #justice for buff Jaskier and #justice for fuzzy Jaskier, because he is neither small nor smooth.

The high-waisted trousers, carefully set shoulders in his jackets, and some careful camera work all help make Joey look slight compared to Henry. Plus, Henry does have a bit more muscle. But, no, Joey’s not a waif. Which is fine. Plenty of slight (and delightful) young men in the world. A man with Joey’s shoulders and chest hair who is still expressive and has *those hands* is a rare gift.

Jaskier is not a morning person~

Jaskier glanced over to the witcher lying beside him. He looked the most serene Jaskier had ever seen him, head tipped back into the flowers with his hands resting on his stomach, eyes gently shut. Moments like these were rare, when Geralt could completely let his guard down and just be.

“I don’t mind.”

Jaskier smiled, rolling to his feet and fetching the instrument from its case. Settling back down in the soft grass, he took in the scent of flowers and dew, and then the sight of his witcher. He was especially beautiful like this, the moonlight washing over him in a purple glow.

Jaskier felt a tug at his heart. His fingers gripping the quill pick moved of their own accord, filling the peaceful mountains with the sound of tranquil music.

“Is that a new song?” Geralt asked, a soft smile playing on his lips. He didn’t open his eyes to see Jaskier grin.

“I’m just playing what I feel in the moment.”

yes the monsters in the witcher are hilariously specific but isn’t it kinda hot how geralt just like hears “this thing attacked me from the dark and smelled like cedar” and he’s like “a classic frejlkner attack. i must grind up this specific poultice and cover my sword blade with it and kill it at high noon” the hottest moments in the witcher are 1. when he’s fighting and 2. when the situation calls for it so he imparts his in depth knowledge of like, every monster thats ever been sighted on the continent

Also I get it, ok, i get that he needs to know about monsters in order to slay them like that’s part of training, that’s part of being a Witcher HOWEVER

MIGHT I BRING UP

the many MANY times that our mostly grumbly wolf of rivea gets EXTRA GRUMBLY in a more speaking way when someone gets information WRONG about a monster??? 

Whether it’s correcting that a monster doesn’t exist (Jaskier), speaking up that the descriptions are wrong (Those lords in the banquet), just Having Knowledge About The Monster (as OP describes above), And ALSO being able to use his VAST MONSTER KNOWLEDGE to be like “Oh, yeah, from the knowledge I have and the sprinkling of information I got form that guy I left chained up in the bedroom, I’m reasonably certain this is the way to break the curse” AND WAS RIGHT

Dude has a PASSION for Monster Knowledge, and that he doesn’t use it JUST For killing them (see the tall Aye Aye looking monster that he was ready to be all “nah, let’s leave it” if Yen’s dude didn’t go sword happy on it–

If his show wasn’t the Witcher he’d instead have an informational show a-la bill nye
