Hello there! You can call me Star or Saph; I use she/they pronouns and I'm currently 20.

Third (and probably last) Art Fight Attack of the year!

Another beautiful post canon Loop design, this time by @godsoftware! Can you tell I love Loop?

As always, extras and yapping under the cut!

Recently I realized I really enjoy creating outfits for the characters I like, so I had lots of fun experimenting with Loop's fit! I doodled so many options that I couldn't choose only one. I'd post them all, but there really are too many. Once again, my friends helped me choose, but I also ended up merging some designs that I particularly liked, and I'm quite satisfied with the results. Here's the final three!

The amount of glitter on their clothes kept increasing exponentially and disproportionately. I feel like I've been dumped in a pool of glitter myself. I can almost taste it. It's everywhere. It wasn't even supposed to be there in the first place!

Me: it's 6 am, I want to go to bed..

Loop: well, I want more glitter~

Initially the drawing was supposed to have both Loop and Siffrin, but then I completely changed the scene and what I had in mind didn't work anymore. Siffrin is still there tho! You just gotta imagine them!

Last but not least, I must credit the amazing @/mellon_soup for the reference!

Funnily enough, I saved it years ago and never used it. When I was planning the scene I knew it was exactly what I needed.

First Art Fight friendly fire!

Also my first attempt at animation! Starting with 24 frames probably wasn't the best choice.. but I needed the star to loop! Just like the characters! It took me so long it felt like I started looping myself :'D

Fun fact! I had three different "versions" in mind (same frames in different order), and I didn't know which one looked better. Thankfully my friends helped me choose!

Other fun fact! The original file was too big, so I had to compress it (or, as my friend put it, deep fry it). So the Loopert has been deep fried! Don't worry, it's for their enrichment. Also stars get fried all the time! If you don't believe me you can take a look at my brain. Burned to a crisp!

Other other fun fact (this one is actually sad)! Originally I had drawn all the stars by hand, but I didn't like the result at all so I blurred them into the background and turned them into clouds/trails of light (or stardust, if you prefer). This made me think of Loop's world and family ceasing to exist when their wish was granted.. I thought about it too hard and became sad. My lil stars, I'll miss you T-T but they still light up the night's sky! Maybe they'll guide some lost travelers home ;>

AND. I don't know how familiar ppl are with where this has stemmed from and i just gotta say it bc it started well before sponsorships and brand affiliated posts

This type of censoring of words and topics started in 2020, before there was even a creator fund, when marginalized groups, notably black folks and lgbt community members, found that certain words would result in an absolute tank in views - the shadowban. In the heat of the pandemic, a lot of folks found financial support through their followership, so having their content inexplicably no longer hitting the fyp like it used had a large impact on the creators. Many of them tested the hypothesis and did indeed find that a video that wrote or spoke the (now commonly censored) words would perform so badly in comparison to other content and in spite of the size of their following.

This kind of lingo was also essential during the george floyd protests bc tags related to Black Lives Matter were also being hidden from the fyp AND from the Following feed. In order to organize, they had to work against the system to communicate the violence of police brutality people were actively facing and witnessing.

So yeah. As per usual, its bc of racism.

Sex is not essential. You can live without it. Full stop.

Not having sex isn't shameful or a sign of failure. It also doesn't make anyone boring.

You are not entitled to having sex with anybody and nobody is entitled to having sex with you.

Sex is not what makes someone an adult.

Nobody's worth is defined by how much sex they have or don't have.

Sex is not equally important to everyone.

You can have fulfilling and happy relationships without sex.

You should only have sex on your own terms, not because you feel like you owe it to someone, or because you feel like you'd be incomplete without it.

Know your boundaries around sex and be firm about them. Know how to respect other people's boundaries.

The previous point also applies when it comes to discussing sex. If someone doesn't wanna talk about it or hear about it you have to back down.

Anything can be sexual but not everything has to be sexual.
