my hobbies besides hockey: reading (mainly fantasy + lgbt books), seeing musicals (my top 3 are hadestown, les mis, and next to normal), most every ttrpg (currently running a monster of the week campaign and playing in a d&d one), and sometimes playing some easy-ish video games (i've been replaying a lot of animal crossing lately, but i also love baldur's gate 3, the sims, and civ 6)
i'm considering getting into other women's sports, especially the spirit, since dc has quite a few women's teams! if you have any good recs on where to watch, hmu
i speak french at a decent level. considering watching more montreal teams because of this
my fave colors are purple and yellow, i did a master's in data science (bachelor's in math + french), aaand i have a cat who is my Son and he is an imp named gavroche (but i call him gav, sweet boy, or stinky)
sorry habs fans want to mythologize the guy who wasn’t drafted by them and wasn’t their first pick in the trade eventually becoming their youngest and first asian captain, who showed up every night through a rebuild when he went from being in the scf to the bottom of the league, who made montreal his full time home, who was there when they drafted the team’s 1OA that declared he wanted to play alongside him, got married in montreal despite him and his wife both being from ontario, has fumbled through a interview in french to show he’s been trying to learn french like he promised, who went to the gm and said don’t trade anyone away we can make it with this team and then pulled them into the playoffs with multiple clutch goals, who almost broke his stick pounding it on the ice because he was so happy they were back in the playoffs and came out to the crowd screaming ça va bien montreal?, and former habs legends all say they love him and he’s ken dryden’s favorite player to watch yeah can’t imagine why we’d do that
