simple money spell 💫
so you wanna get a couple extra bucks to get by? boost your chances of getting that call back from that job you want, saying you’re hired? here’s a small jar spell to boost your luck
what you will need:
• jar
• green candle (associated with wealth)
• white candle (purity, use it while you work)
• alfalfa leaf
• rose hips
• lavender
• sesame seed
• bay leaf
• sharpie
• shiny new penny
what to do:
• light your white candle (mine was vanilla but whatever suits you best, use it)
• write your intention on the bay leaf in your sharpie, I wrote financial gain since im broke as fuck
• layer your ingredients however you want, but I did lavender, sesame seed, alfalfa, rose hip, basil, and penny.
• close that bitch up and seal it with your green wax. I let it drip all around the edge of the jar and then put the candle on top and kept it lit until it all turned into a thick goopy mess on top just because
• while the candle is burning/your wax is dripping, think about some possible ways that money could be coming to you, how thankful you’d be, what you’d use it for, etc. if you use a deity, you can ask for their assistance here, but i personally don’t have one.
• when you’re done with the green candle you can blow it out and blow out the white one, and keep the jar wherever you’ll see it most, or take it with you if its small enough. bonus points if you keep it with some crystals like citrine, green adventurine, pyrite, peridot, etc. I have all of these on my workspace but it isn’t required if you don’t have them
now make some fuckin money 💚💚💚

IRON
Energy: Projective Planet: Mars Element: Fire Deity: Selene Associated Stones: Quartz Crystal, Holey Stones Associated Metals: Lodestone, Meteorite Powers: Protection, Defensive Magic, Strength, Healing, Grounding, Return of Stolen Goods
Magical/Ritual Lore:
Because iron is seldom found in pure form except in meteorites, the earliest iron available for use by humans was obtained from these strange celestial objects. Meteorites, which were observed falling from the heavens, were used to make simple tools, supplementing bone and stone implements by earlier humans.
Throughout most of the world, humans eventually learned how to remove iron from its ore, which made it available for wider use.
Once this occurred, it was soon limited to purely physical applications and was restricted in magic and religion. In ancient Greece, for example, no iron was brought into the temples. Roman priests could not be shaved or scraped with iron during bodily cleansing.
Ireland, Scotland, Finland, China, Korea, India, and other countries have severe taboos against iron. Again and again in ancient rituals fire was made without iron, altars built without its use, and magical rituals performed only after divesting the body of all traces of the metal.
Herbs were usually collected with non-iron knives, owing to the belief that the vibrations of this metal would “jam” or “confuse” the herb’s energies.
The Hindus once believed that the use of iron in buildings would spread epidemics, and, even to this day, a gift of iron in any form is thought by some to be unlucky.
However, iron did have its place in magic. Specifically, it was worn or used in protective rituals. Its powerful, projective vibrations were thought to be feared by demons, ghosts, fairies, genii and other fantastic creatures.
In China, dragons were thought to fear iron. When rain was needed, pieces of the metal were thrown into “dragon pools” to upset the creatures and send them into the sky in the form of rain clouds.
In old Scotland, iron was used to avert danger when a death had occurred in the house. Iron nails or knitting needles were thrust into every item of food-cheese, grain, meat and so on-to act as a lightning rod, attracting the confusing vibrations that death may arouse
within the living and thus sparing the food of possible contamination.
Classical Romans drove nails into their house walls to preserve their health, especially during times of plague.
Because of its protective effects iron was sometimes thought, conversely, to be sacred, and thieves in ancient Ireland wouldn’t dare to steal it.
Magical Uses:
Iron-pure projective power, active, seeking, blinding, confusing, guarding.
For heavy protection, place small pieces of iron in each room of the house or bury at the four comers of your property. In earlier times, iron fences were sometimes used to halt the flow of negativity into the home.
During protective or defensive magic, wear an iron ring engraved with the symbol of Mars. Or, obtain a three-inch thick white candle and eight old iron nails. Warm the nails by a fire (or in a red candle's flame), then thrust each into the white candle in a random pattern. Light the nail-studded candle and visualize yourself as guarded, protected, secure.
Wearing iron or carrying a small piece of this metal enhances physical strength and is an excellent talisman for athletes.
Iron is also used during healing rituals. A small piece is placed beneath the pillow at night. This was originally done to scare away the "demons" that had caused the disease but can be thought of as strengthening the body’s ability to heal itself.
Iron rings or bracelets are worn to draw out illnesses from the body. This dates back to at least ancient Roman times.
A curious ritual from Germany to cure toothache: Pour oil onto a piece of heated iron. The fumes which rise from the iron will act on the problem.
In old Scotland, healing stones-quartz crystals or holey stones were kept in iron boxes to guard against supernatural creatures who might steal them.
Iron is also worn for grounding, for closing down the psychic centers, and for impeding the flow of energy from the body. This, of course, isn’t the best during magical ritual but is fine when the subject is under psychic or emotional attack, is physically depleted or wishes to focus on physical matters.
Iron horseshoes and the nails that attach them to the hooves are ancient magical tools. They might have first been used in ancient Greece, where they were called seluna and were associated with the Moon and the goddess Selene.
A horseshoe hung in the home over the front door confers protection.
While theories differ as to the “proper” way to hang the horseshoe, I always place it points up. Ideally, it is to be nailed with three of its original nails.
An old iron horseshoe nail is sometimes bent into a ring (if you can find one long enough) and worn for luck and healing.
If you have had something stolen from you and have a fireplace handy, try this spell. Take a horseshoe nail that you’ve found by chance. Drive this into the fireplace, visualizing the stolen object returning to your home. It is done.
There are still magicians and Wiccans who remove all traces of iron from their bodies before working magic, but this custom is fading into oblivion.
Would love to read a good book …
Witchy Crafts
I’ve been scouring pinterest lately for witchy crafts, and here are some I’ve found, along with what I would use them for!
Wall Hanging - Okay so I made a really cool wall hanging for someone a while ago, and with their permission, I enchanted it to bring motivation, happiness, and warmth to their space. I feel like you could do the same with any wall hanging. I added braids, chestnut halves, and even color coordinating yarn to make mine.
Star Light Garland - Great for Cosmic Witches! Or for those of you who need a little light around your altar, around your bed for soft light, etc.
Flower Candle Holders (Plaster Dipped Flowers) - Yes, you can buy these already made, but aren’t the ones linked so awesome? I think it makes perfectly preserved flowers to keep all year, and the flame of the candle might help draw their energy out!
Concrete Dragon Egg Candle Votives - While we’re on the topic of candle holders, why not take a look at these amazing ‘dragon egg’ ones? If you work with dragon spirits, or really any animal/creature spirit with eggs, it will look amazing on your altar!
Watercolour Painted Pillow - For all of you who use magic to work your way into your dreams, or are looking for a fun way to calm yourself before bed, try this! You can even paint it with moon water!
Dream/Wish Jar - All you have to do is write down your dreams/wishes on the paper of your choice, and throw them in a jar. I suggest making matching sigils for each one, and burning them at the full moon. I made one, and it looks so cute in my room! Super great for hidden witches!
Moon Rocks - I know, I know, not exactly a moon rock, but if you make these with moon water in place of regular water, and charge them under the full moon, they could stand in for the moon on cloudy nights, charge your crystals, etc.
DIY Essential Oil Diffuser Necklaces - Obviously, this is a really inconspicuous way to use essential oils! You could wear one for protection when you’re feeling unsafe, attract love on the days you want too, and even give them away as gifts to other witches!
DIY Detoxifying Activated Charcoal Soap - Okay, but how much witchery could you do with these? So much!! After you are finished cursing, or perhaps on the night of a full moon, you could scrub up with this and get all kinds of cleansed!
Ombre Mermaid Soap - All the yes. Sea witches could use this in Mermaid beauty bath spells, or give it up as an offering! They’re so pretty, and with a little enchantment, could be magical!
Jellyfish in a Bottle - Do you interact with spirits of the sea? Maybe Jellyfish? Then go ahead and capture their beauty with this awesome DIY, and use the bottle as a spirit vessel for your jellyfish guests!
Mini Natural Brushes (Brooms) - These are great for on the go witchery, or for painting out your spells. You can keep dried ‘brushes’ in mini altar kits to use as a besom, or use them as brushes for making sigils, etc.
Lay-Flat Storage Mat - Divination Supplies, witchy spell kits, enchanted jewelry- the opportunities are endless! Use black to keep the energy locked inside, and paint or draw sigils on it for an added boost!
DIY Hand Cast - Make your own palmistry guide using this neat craft. You can cast your hand and paint on it however you’d like!
Pressed Flower Candles - Preserve the beautiful energy of almost any flower by creating a candle with it! Burn the candle when you need the herb or flowers energy for your spell, and Make as many as you can while the flowers are blooming!
Wind Chimes - Perfect for alerting you of potential intruders, Wind chimes placed inside can add a natural, as well as witchy, flair to your space. If you hear it, but there is no wind, you’ll know someone has come to visit!
DIY Candles - Add your energy as you make these candles for a boost in your spells. There’s even a ‘Sprinkes’ candle you can enchant to grant wishes, and you can light this every year on your birthday.
Bird’s Nests - Yes, you can make a nest of your own! Using special herbs, you can make a home fit for a spirit, or use it as a shrine to the Air element.
Wooden Spoons (Personalized) - With a wood burner and some concentration, you too can make a Kitchen Wand! Enchant soups and pastas with special energy with your very own wooden Spoon Wand!
Gazing Ball - So, this isn’t exactly a crystal ball, but it will work just like a scrying mirror. Simply follow the directions, and, if you wish, exclude the additions to the sphere. Then, you’re good to go!
DIY Succulent Planters - Green witches, I got a DIY for you, too! Make these succulent planters, and put them near a window, especially if your altar is near by. They’ll provide protection and hardiness to your home and its defense systems!
Crystal Candle Votives - These crystals are 100% made by you. You can give them special intentions and colour them accordingly. Have fun making your own set of crystals!
Paper Leaf Garland - A little bit of nature for your altar! I know it isn’t real, but for those of you who can’t grow a plant near your altar, it will work beautifully!
Wish Bracelets - I loved mine when I had it! They’re super fun to wear, and will be a discreet witchy project for you to try. Just make a wish, and wait for it to fall off!
Rustic Twig Ornaments - Use these as wards throughout your home, and enchant them to bring you whatever you need.
Button Bicycles - To help your spell get going, throw in a button bicycle! Use it inside poppets, sachets, etc.
Packaging Tape Image Transfers - These can help you label your herbs, crystals, and spell jars! Have fun coming up with cute designs and whimsical fonts!
Paper Envelopes - For those of you who send letters, write them, or use envelopes in your spells, you can create them using paper with this method!

list of bloggers who do free divination
please tell me if i’ve put you in the wrong category, said something incorrect, or put you on here when you shouldn’t be! i’m only going off of your reblogs and some tags, so. I also had trouble tagging some people, so I’m sorry about that.
Let me know if you would like to be added to this list. If I’ve put you under “unspecified,” and you’d like that to be cleared up, reblog and say so, or shoot me a message. If you reblogged the original post and did not tag or comment anything, I did not put you on the list; again, please reblog and comment what you do if you’d like to be added! If you reblogged and you were in like the last three i didn’t put you on here because I got buried in notes and it’s been a hard day :D
Note: People who do free readings should be treated with respect. No one owes you a free reading. They are giving you their time, and if they don’t feel like it or don’t do it when/how you want them to, too bad. Do not use this list to treat people who offer free readings as an endless resource. Ask the reader about, for example, the tarot spreads they offer before asking your question. Communicate and be kind. Do not be an asshole.

reblogs give publicity to people who want practice, and hopefully give everyone a resource as to finding divination. remember, be polite, or i’ll find out and yell at you for all pagan tumblr to see.
I’ve had readings from a few of these people, and they’re all really great. Remember…..feedback=life!
Free Reading Please?
Urgent question! Really need a free reading. Preferably from a reliable source?
Unconventional schools of divination #137: blowing shit up and reading the shrapnel.
The fact that actual, practising witches are reblogging this post honestly makes me a little concerned.
