Hi There! I'm an MFA student making drawings & I wanted to reach out to you. I have been working on a series of people with strabismus & was wondering if you'd be willing to chat with me about it. I hope this isn't too forward, it's just that I think it's important for me to get feedback from people who have strabismus, so I've been using Tumblr to do that. You can see some of my work here, too. :) I hope to hear from you soon. - Sarah J.
Hey there, what would you like to know?!
Is there a way we can chat more seemlessly? Email? Thanks for responding! !!
Strabismus & Art
Hello people! I’m a graduate student at SMFA working towards an MFA in Drawing & painting. Since undergrad, I’ve been working on drawings of people with strabismus. I used to make drawings of women specifically, but now I’m doing people of all genders. I would love to chat with people who have strabismus or similar eye disorders. It’s my hope that my project won’t be read as offensive (but if it is, please tell me). For me, these drawings have been about presenting people with strabismus in a dignified and beautiful way. So, if you want to chat, please message me or email me at [email protected]. - Sarah
