I don't know why my mind went to animating this, but hey! I animated and I'm very proud of myself for learning!

I think I've been working on this for a week now, but I really enjoyed it and will continue to animate in the future!

The Battle In The Magma

OHoh this was of course quite the injury filled magma! I honestly got more done than I expected to but hey I'm not complaining. It was fun. Though I did expect myself to lean more into angst and I really didn't-- but that's fiiiine... it's still in there.

First we have a.. semi post Shredder encounter? But also not? As it's during Many Unhappy Returns, and post Leo out smarting big mama, but instead of being in an alleyway it's them.. hiding under some rubble. Because there's some desperate need of patching up (Mainly Donnie, his poor shell.) In the episode they get a bunch of bumps and scrapes that go away for the most part by the next scene, because well easier to not animate them I understand (hell some shots have Donnie's battle shell not damaged after it's already been sliced), but I took ones that did appear in that first fight and the one from the shipyard and slap 'em on there.. this was very fun. And also technically my first proper time ever drawing the rise Shredder. And I'm quite proud of it honestly! He's fucking terrifying! :D! I also just.. love the detail of how the Shredder's face is very skull like.. because he basically is armor puppeting around the corpse of Oroku Saki given it consumed him literally. It's just. OUGH. It's great. Making my way through all the tmnt iterations really gives me more and more appreciation for the details in rise, especially Shredder's.

Up next we have something a bit more light hearted, though still pretty dark.. given it's from the bad future timeline. Freshly after Leo lost his right arm (and poor Yuichi his left leg-), it's them all patching one another up. Poor CJ feels guilty because he got himself into some trouble causing the incident. But hey.. it'll all be fine. Totally. :] At least Mikey and Leo are trying to cheer him up and make him feel better.

And last but certainly not least is a dragon collab with @sardonic-sonnets! While I'm not the best with dragons, I have drawn a few and have done my best to get better with them. And it seemed like a fun idea! So I thought why not, and man it turned out fun! A little disaster twins squabble, breathing their respective fire at one another. I had fun figuring out how to make Donnie feel aquatic.. at least some what. He's got the darker top side to blend in when looking into the water, and the lighter under belly to disguise when one is looking up from under the water. The fins. I did my best. I debated making him fully purple but like-- I couldn't get rid of his greeeen.. he needs it.

I love, love, LOVE the route sardonic went with Leo's design, being a birds of paradise inspired wyvern? Amazing. The colors? Amazing. I love the feathers that make up his markings, how they're still in the crescent shape? It's just. MWAH! I love the little hooks on the ends of his wings! It's great! It reminds me of the hoatzin, a bird that has claws on its wings to help with climbing up rocks.. and getting away from predators as chicks! It's fun. :]! Also also the background sardonic made is BEAUTIFUL, even if it's the clouds and water below, it still just looks so lovely and painterly! <3

Overall I had a fun time this magma, as I usually do, but it was.. such fun watching the... angst really fill it. There was of course some goofs and silly stuff, but BOY was that angst really running through so many people's veins.. and I'm all for it. I enjoy the fluff but hey.. sometimes there needs to be a balance. Thank you of course to @weeklymagmas for hosting as usual!

For battle damage, I wanted to make some emotionally evocative pieces, but I'm no good at angst, either way, I am very happy with most of my art here. My favorite is the broken shell put together with gold like that one pottery technique

Some more conceptual, but a bit more in your face, injuries with Leo losing an arm and Raph succumbing to the Krang parasite

I really wanted draw the tots playing with cardboard swords, I just didn't have time to color

A mid-air dragon fight collab, or more appropriately a sibling squabble, done with the amazing @alexguard

Donnie looks so cool with the added shading and I low-key forgot to draw fire, so kudos for the blue and purple fire breath. I haven't drawn dragons nearly enough as of late, so this was a lovely refresher

My main piece was this Slime Rancher crossover with April and 12 slimes from the first game. Slime rancher is probably my all time favorite solo player game because I just love games all about collecting things. My little neodivergent brain wants all the slimes in organized pens and all the fruit as I can get in my silos
