the thing abt it is that people say things like “i wanna see that man whimpering” and “i need to see him injured and losing blood and lightheaded” abt male characters they like and like i feel like if you make the same posts abt women it could across differently but ykw sometimes i DO need to see that woman whimpering and whining.  sometimes i do want to see her grievously injured and in agony looking up with her big round eyes all while she insists shes perfectly fine. Wild serious Day appearance while at work but I think there’s something to be said about white queers or neurodivergent being vocally oppositional to cops and expecting black or POC folx to do the same as if cursing out a cop wouldn’t be a death sentence to us.

I wish I could do what you do but too many of my relatives, friends and family have been beaten, harassed or even KILLED because a cop thought we looked at them the wrong way.

Your whiteness comes before any other minority group you’re in, whether mentally challenged, mentally struggling, disabled or queer + trans.

The cops will be gentler with you than they ever would me, a black, trans man with hearing loss.

If I don’t hear a direction right, I’m likelier to lose my life for my disability.

If you are white and queer, I’d like to say “understand your privilege” because that whiteness comes before anything else and you cannot expect everyone to follow what your privilege allows you.
