Spotify: Cause there’s no better intermission to my Alice In Chains-filled fit of self loathing than the fizzy fun of Dunkin’ Peach Sunshine SPARKD Energy.
Coexist
You mean to say with a straight face that Stone Temple Pilots, Temple of the Dog, and Queens of the Stone Age are different bands?
-Jill Sobule on Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl”
This is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.
A little cathartic cup of stars
Simeon Solomon’s Night (1890).
A rather Bordertownish bird lady, I think.
I don’t think I could talk about The Sandman on here because, like, Neil Gaiman is here, just hanging out. I’d be like “Oh, I like how they visualized this one scene, it was different from the comics but I don’t think they original comics visualizations would have worked in live action “ or whatever And then Neil Gaiman might appear like “Yeah, we were having trouble figuring out how to do that scene until one of our production designers had a vivid hallucination while eating a 3AM Gyro purchased from an all-night food truck outside the Bass Pro Shop pyramid” and I don’t think I’m ready for that experience. Alternatively, I could say “Dream is a little too scrungly to be a classic Tumblr Sexyman, but he is prime meow-meow blorbo material” and Neil Gaiman might appear and say “Yeah, we were having trouble figuring out the exact ratio of Sexyman, poor little meow meow, and Blorbo, but the final characterization appeared to Tom Sturridge in a vivid hallucination while eating a 3AM Gyro purchased from an all-night food truck outside the Bass Pro Shop pyramid” and I don’t think I’m ready for THAT either.
Bless this post.
My Best Friend’s Exorcism by Grady Hendrix
It’s time to accept that the closest we’ll ever get to a Dresden Files adaptation is The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (2010).
Tom Sturridge as Dream & Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Death in The Sandman
Yes. He is holding a loaf of bread.
Peachy keen, to the max
So if Yes are the Princes of Prog Rock, I hereby propose a hierarchy…
King of Prog Rock
Queen of Prog Rock
Princes of Prog Rock (Duh)
Feel free to add more. Those were the ones I could think of off the top of my head, and Rush, Supertramp, etc. have to fit in there somewhere.
What is this?!
Trying to read Tank Girl in order and thought this was Tank Girl 1, but apparently it’s a whole different omnibus all together. I can’t figure out where it’s placed chronologically. Anyone have any ideas?

Seinfeld (1989 - 1998)
We’re topical now
All these losers and their non-cannonical complaints about Death being black (like Morpheus was in the fourth omnibus) and Desire being non-binary (like they were in every single appearance), are completely ignoring the only true injustice of the adaptation:
Where’s your Billy Idol punk hair, man?!
EDIT:
Crisis resolved! Kudos to hair and makeup (Though seeing it now, it’s definitely more of a Steve Stevens thing.)
Wanting to read Parable of the Sower, but terrified/excited it’ll be one of those life-changing, end-of-the-world, biting-my-nails-til-2024 books.
Interview With The Vampire feels like fan-fiction of itself, and it’s great.
