I'm curious about how Kota is talked about in Japanese. Because in my first language Kota is referred as He. However that species of deep sea anglerfish, because of its sexual dimorphism, only the female looks like that: big and with the distinct modified fin that has bioluminescent bacteria to use as bait. The males are way smaller with most of its body being just gonads.
My point is, that at least in my mother language, Kota canonically is trans.
I just caught up on Fool Night, and so far this is one of the best mangas I've read.
Unique artstyle.
It has so many interesting characters.
The violence and horror is well executed.
No S.A. for audience gratification.
Well done worldbuilding.
Cool conspiracy that holds tension.
Now I'm as exited for its anime adaptation as I was for the Witch Hat Atelier one.
I think the funniest joke the fans of Control make is commenting as THE BOARD.
If there was a gimmick account that provided commentary on posts roleplaying as THE BOARD I would follow it in an instant.
You Rang/Our Ears are Burning/It’s impolite to talk about someone that’s listening

It is impressive how common the response by the people that oppose when a lesbian ship becomes canon, or has some expressive fan content about them, is always that one of the characters becomes all about their romantic pair and lose their individuality, or character journey.
The reality is that it never happens.
You know when that happens? With a lot of straight ships. There are multiple movies, cartoons, comics, mangas, anime, series, which the female characters only exist to orbit their male love interest, and when they get together, she is done as a heroine/protagonist the story never focus on her again.
I bet one of them popped in your head when you read this, because you are still mad about it.
I KNOW RIGHT ?! I've seen this "criticism" made about Blake and Yang's relationship 😭 (that either since the end of Blake's White Fang arc her character is "limited to her relationship with Yang" or that "Yang is limited to her relationship with Blake" etc. 🙄) These people have never seen any type of movie/tv/book/online content in their LIFE if THAT'S what a character being limited to their relationship with another character looks like for them 🤦♀️
The ships that I put on my tags are all that I've seen this argument made about them recently or multiple times when they were at their most popular.
What is funny with this fake narrative about Blake and Yang is that, all the time Blake had a romantic partner in the past their relationship was always focused in only one of them. Sun's character for the most part of the story seemed to exist only so she could have someone to interact in her journey, he barely got any plot motivation besides tailing her.
But somehow Yang abandonment issues and injury trauma that she worked on with the help of her dad, Ruby, Weiss and on her own, is only about Blake...

Tagged by @just-a-river (I'm honored to find out I'm your only mutual :D But i think you can really follow more people, there are certainly a lot of people who'd be happy to be your mutuals)
Favorite colour
Green or blue? (For eyes) Red? Black? ...purple? (It was for a long time after I'd discovered Purple Lambourghini and I liked it because it sounded so extra. I really don't know
Last song
Bunt by wavvyboi. I used to listen to his songs a lot when I was younger, mainly to blister, bleach and weiße rosen. Also 100 Bars by Richter, he's also an artist I listened to a lot when I was younger, I really like his Schwarzweiß album.

BFF~! by Luna Darko. The book is kind of the back story to the first book of her series. Half of it are ICQ chat logs between the two best friends. One of them will kill himself before the first book. It makes me want to take mushrooms I grew with a suspicious grow up kit from the internet on my window bench with a friend but that's probably not a good idea lol
Currently watching
I'm watching Andor for half a year now but am in the seventh episode from the second season by now. I like the story line(s), the question it opens and the editing. And I continued watching Tokyo Revengers two days ago, even though I already read the manga.
Current craving
Protein milkshake (Did sport)

Thank you for tagging me, I've never done one of these before, so I don't even know if I'm doing it right lol.
Favorite colour
This is a little hard for me to answer because I like to study the subject of colour, and during my life my favourite one changed a lot. Right now picking one is hard, but I have two combinations that are on my mind, green, white and violet, and coral with dark blue.
Last song
Wonder Girls "I Feel You". I wanted to say it was something cool, but the reality is that the last song I listened was a 10 years old kpop song. I like to listen to kpop when I exercise and the retro visuals of the music video is really fun, with the best part being the singers being splashed with water and them trying really hard to look sexy but fighting not to laugh.

Design is storytelling by Ellen Lupton. It's something for people that works with design, so it's helping me with the creative process. I'm not a writer but I like to understand stories that impact me and how they do it. That's why I picked this up.

Which Hat Atelier. I'm a big fan of the manga, so I've been following the release of the anime. I've been meaning to make some analysis post about this series for a while, about the principles of design that the author seems really familiar with given their formation and how some of the characters talk about magic.
But this year has been a little of writing slump for me.(something I really liked turned out to be a little disappointing after I learned more about its 'inspiration', and I feel like I can't support it anymore)
Also, I've been rewatching Lego Monkie Kid.
Current craving
Soup, it is a little cold.

I don't have many mutuals, but anyone that follows me that wishes to do this can go ahead, I would love to read what any of you have to say.
You don't have to do it, of course.
The original photo was taken by a friend that allowed me to edit and share.
By putting Jesse in a Leon S. Kennedy jacket, a hair bun and work boots in the Control Resonant trailer, the developers are signaling to a specific group of fans:
bugs when you lift up a rock
The overwatch hate is so forced.
People will repeat made up shit by some far-right rage baiter from twitter and harass the developers about decisions that they didn't make. But I guess it is just the system working as intended, people look silly getting mad at company so they turn against the workers.
For example, how fans attribute Kiriko's lore flaws and the many skins she gets to her being a dev's OC because the person has a tattoo of her. When the reality is that their first job in OW was in Kiriko's cinematic, which means that the character was already far in development when they joined the team! As a result this worker was harassed and avoided appearing in the developer's updates.
Meanwhile, Soldier 76 and Cassidy were actually Ocs of one of the main writers during the development of OW. The first one was a personal comic book character, and the other was an OC for Starcraft. There is also Genji, who was admittedly one of the writers favorite characters. All these 3 heroes get a lot of lore and cosmetics and I never saw any complaints, so you also get the misogyny of these criticisms.
It is unfortunate, but I think nothing in Alecto the Ninth will go as hard as: "We will always choose Earth. We will always choose each other."
One of the astronauts in the Artemis II really dished out the best love declaration to our planet and close ones.
Witch Hat Atelier | Opening
I miss the slightly antisocial, insane and edgy JRPG/anime brown haired protagonists. They were more unpredictable, and thus more entertaining.
The Locke Tomb series isn't Homestuck fanfiction. The Locked Tomb series is Lyctorised Homestuck.
