I know this is not exactly news but I just wanna say that Oprah’s response to Leaving Neverland’s train station lies in the Daily Show was as pretentious and cynical as it could be. Especially her comparing all the lies to Ellen’s coming out back in the day. Yikes! She said she didn’t get so much “hateration” since that time. Probably the main reason why she said this because this is how she was trying to justify all the lies.
So, what did she say exactly?
She was “addressing” the scandal about the film’s train station discrepancy. For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, this is what happened: in the “documentary” Leaving Neverland one of the guys (Safechuck) talked about being molested by Michael in the upper room of the grand train station.
Now, the problem is, that Michael Jackson fans have discovered that the train station wasn’t built within his alleged timeline. There are photos, papers, and the photographer’s affirmation to prove it. It’s a 2-3 years difference.
But let’s say he only abused him later or they somehow messed up the pictures in the film and they showed a different train station from some unknown other one. Well, in 1994, when the building was finished, Safechuck was 16 years old, taller than Michael and he was an umbrella boy for him in Hungary while shooting. Train station or no train station, Michael giving him a job does not fit the “he slowly dumped me because I got too mature” narrative. And you have to know, this is just one of the many lies in that fake “documentary”.
Now, what did Oprah say? She compared all that to a wednesday-thursday mistake. Yup! Not sure if this is ignorance, cynicism, or deliberate lying, but the thing is, for someone on her level, all are very bad.
And many people who have been around know that these lies aren’t new. Oprah, most of mainstream media and the other blue ticks who promoted that crap on different platforms (even months after) didn’t seem top be bothered to do any research about how Michael's previous two accusers were both lying extortionists (no, he did not pay off Jordan Chandler no matter how many times bloggers, "influencers”, or MJ hate sites like MJfacts might tell you this) nor does the fact that he was acquitted in court in 2005 seem to matter.
I don’t mean to bash or judge Oprah and I know that many people look up to her because of some other things, also, not gonna get into other shit she did or does, because I don’t know much about that, but for me this one thing alone proves she’s not credible and I don’t trust someone who does something like that. Someone who stands on a pedestal and acts like seeking truth while they actually have no integrity and promote a big, cruel lie for different kind of hidden or not-so-hidden but dishonest motives. This goes for other blue ticks who promoted that crap as well. I’m hoping for them to get out from their own lies.
My point for now is that you people sometimes should look around before you start believing the crap on TV or what people who were put on pedestals say, do, encourage, promote, sell. Especially if they’re selling hatred.
