Whatâs Best For Her || CLOSED
He pushed the door open for them both and stepped in, adjusting to the lightening. He saw more kids run around, a few stopped and stared at him before quickly running to their rooms. Sophie was too busy looking around to notice the children staring at her father.
âDa? Whereâs his office? Da?â She turned when he didnât answer to find that a bunch of kids had swarmed him all talking at once.
âITâS SOBEK!âÂ
âCan I have your autograph!?â
âI was here first, Libby! I want a selfie!â
â--Youâre music is amazing!â
âMy favorite is Evaâs ballad!â They were so busy trying to get to him they pushed Sophie out of the way. She fell over and cried out.Â
âHey!â Stephan snapped out, the kids fell silent as he waded through them to his daughter and helped her up. âYou ok?â She nodded slowly. âGood.â He turned his attention back to the kids. âWhat if it had been one of you?â
âSorry...â some of them mumbled, eyeing Sophie.
âDa, they were just excited...â Sophie frowned. He sighed and stood up straight.
âI know. I just donât want you hurt.â She smiled at him as he ruffled her hair. âI have to meet the professor, Iâll be around later for anything you guys want.â They all groaned sadly but he picked Sophie up and put her on his shoulders before stepping further in the school. He sniffed the air, his tongue slightly hanging out. He glanced up on the second floor and saw three teachers watching him from there. He remembered one or two of them. Nodding at them as he walked. He noted another was in the living room, this one smelled familiar but he shrugged it off and continued down the hall.
