People really have to stop using the "we're all just here to play dolls" or "im not online enough for this'' excuses as a way to relieve themselves from having to deal with valid points brought by black and marginalized people when they are talking about not feeling accepted in fandom spaces. Its not ' fandom discourse' when someone points out something specific might be viewed as racist or make poc uncomfortable. We cant ''all just play with our dolls'' unless we are taking accountability and making sure EVERYONE is able to feel safe and comfortable playing. You cant ''im just here to have fun'' away valid criticism.
