I watched The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl last night w/ my sister, and man that movie is just as weird as I remembered it being. a straight up fever dream.
Anyway, here’s some headcanons I have about Sharkboy and Lavagirl bc cringe culture is dead:)
Enjoys learning about Polynesian gods and goddesses, her favorite being Pele. She thinks it’s really cool that a volcano goddess isn’t seen as evil destroyer, but a complex being who is capable of both destruction and creation.
Swims through magma and lava as easily as Sharkboy swims through water.
She doesn’t get truly angry very often, but is someone (or something) enrages her, her hair turns blue.
After living on Earth for a while, she’s made it a goal for herself to visit as many volcanoes as possible. Major ones on her bucket list include Kawah Ijen in Indonesia, and Surtsey, Iceland.
She has a deep respect for Firefighters. When she first learned about firefighters
She can only use utensils made of metals (and other materials) with incredibly high melting points, like Tantalum Hafnium Carbide or diamond.
Enjoys spicy foods, especially soups and noodles.
He can regrow his teeth after they fall out.
On a related note, when Max told him about the tooth fairy, he was upset because he could’ve gotten so many quarters with how many of his shark teeth that’ve fallen out.
Has bitten into the hulls of fishing boats belonging to fishermen harvesting shark fins on multiple occasions.
Has incredibly low spice tolerance.
Lives by the quote “violence isn’t the answer. It’s a question, and the answer is yes”
Has electroreception, so when Mr. Electric used those electric eels to try and destroy him, he got majorly overwhelmed by the powerful electrical fields emitted by the eels. The reason why just standing around Mr. Electric or near lightning storms doesn’t have the same effect is because his electroreception doesn’t work well on land.
