Closed Starter - Day Three

Lola certainly hadn’t expected their spring break cruise to result in them being divided into groups and put into lifeboats but as the crew members called out directions, it became apparent that this was definitely happening. Lola managed to contain her nerves until after the lifeboat was loaded and lowered down into the ocean; at which point her hands started to tremble slightly. Not wanting to panic anyone else, especially her boyfriend, she just tucked her hands under her legs so that no one could see just how overwhelmed she was. “I’m sure the crew sent off a distress call before loading us into the boats, I’m sure it won’t be long before people come and rescue us”. Her words were to convince herself just as much as the others on the boat.

Scarlett was realistic which meant she didn’t really care too much about blind optimism which sometimes made her seem pessimistic instead. “There’s plenty of rich kids on that cruise ship that if parents caught wind, I’m sure they’d be sending rescue but that’s if they’re made aware.” She wasn’t feeding in to the rich vs poor debate because she was rich but acted like she was poor. All she meant was that realistically, there’s a chance if there was a distress call made that someone would search for them.

The expression on the blonde’s face made it seem kind of serious. “Is everything okay?”

Not only was there a bar in close proximity to the pool but there was also a goddamn waterslide, which meant that he would literally have to be dragged away from the pool when it closed. The amount of stomach problems I had as a kid while waiting to find out why was ridiculous and painful and still, people aren’t willing to bend to a allergy or even a decision to not eat something for whatever beliefs they have.” She rolled her eyes in annoyance. “Usually the first but not always. I find that people are more likely to review places if they have a bad experience over having a fantastic one and the same goes for opinion. Someone agrees then great but if someone disagrees then they’re very vocal about it.”

Scarlett purposely squinted as if inspecting the fake botox job. “Are you sure they got all of them because that wrinkle on your forehead says otherwise. That one... right there.” She poked his head and took the crown from his head and putting it on her own head and quickly shuffled through the crowd with the crown still on her head. She didn’t know if she wanted him to chase her but she felt playful once there were a few drinks in her - sometimes this was childish.
