Just fyi if you're autistic/adhd and struggle specifically with this sort of thing, please know what what might be happening is something called perseveration, which is a common neurodivergent behavior that can include, among other things, revisiting emotions repeatedly and being unable to break loose from processing or managing stressful events.

Don't keep hurting your own feelings. But don't feel bad if you get stuck there, either. Something else could be going on.

I took a long break from embroidery between 2020 and 2022

(my brain does a thing where if it thinks it's gotten good at something it is no longer fun to do LOL)

The last time inspiration struck was while playing horizon forbidden west. I got the idea of making the "hiding grass" in horizon actually 3D and you can flip it up and down to "hide" from the clawstrider.

It was featured on official guerilla social media and one of the retrospective videos that had a lot of fanart. I was so happy :3. Some people asked for the pattern but all i have is my sketch i used for myself LOL, you can use if you want but you'll have to have a pretty good understanding of embroidery to work with it + referencing the stitches on mine. The grass is turkish work but LONG and tying a separate red tassel using a basic square knot at the end of each little grass!
