Its ok to be a little broken

Mental health.. Those words make people feel so uncomfortable, ashamed and sad.. When it shouldn't! Why shouldn't you care for your mental state? Why be ashamed of not being mentally well, why would you feel bad for asking or considering help? Everyone is entitled to have clear healthy mind, there's never a problem with physical wellness so lets work on the mental wellness, cause its just as important. If your mind is not in a good place neither are you physically. There is so much shame that is associated with not being mentally well, its almost like a brand that your not a capable human and are damaged, with no way to fix you... Wrong! You can fix broken things with time and the right kind of tools and a little bit of help. Don't ever let the feeling of fear or being ashamed stand in your way of reaching out for help, I'm pretty sure everyone at some point in their life have questioned their mental health or have had dark thoughts and have felt so lost. Asking for help never makes you weak its actually the opposite, it empowers you! Your taking back your life, and standing up and fighting back, there's so much strength and courage to speak up and take your mental health head on. Your brain deserves to be as healthy as any part of you body does, love all of you and never be ashamed of being broken. You are not what you are labeled and your label doesn't define you! Stand up, speak out and never give up!
