Hi. I've low-key identified as a wolf for a long time now, but I've only recently started to explore that identity in earnest. And yes, when I say physical, I mean it.

I also have other alterhuman experiences as well - I am doghearted and am just generally canine-aligned (yes, point and laugh at the basic ass caninekin.... done? okay. moving on), and I am also alastorkin (that blog is @radiokilled-thevideostar if you care).

We are also plural, and different alters are going to have differing connections to different nonhuman identities, but I did make this blog to talk about our physical wolfness- but just expect that there might be other nonhuman discussion as well. But the body is what is physically a wolf, so there is that identity no matter what.

DNI if you're only looking for discourse or drama, I don't care (communities surrounding marginalized identities try not to be infested with the dumbest shit drama imaginable challenge).

Adding onto the previous post, I fuck up when I speak a lot actually... stuff I experience without meaning to:

Talking in an unnaturally pitched voice, usually lower pitched.

Repeat the same phrase.

Just make a sound that isn't a word, or a sentence trailing off into a sound.

Can't raise my voice above a certain level.

Shouting when I'm angry.

Saying things out loud that I only meant to think.

Just saying gibberish.

Not being able to say anything at all

I know some of it is the fact that we're schizospec, but, like... it still feels like I can't get used to using human speech.

yall ever go to speak and get scared at the fact that you actually can? like even tho that was your intention it still surprises you that the noise comes out as vocal tone and words. i know i can talk. most days i dont shut up. but it catches me off guard some days. this dog speaks english and i dont think it will ever not be weird to me

I was in denial about literally being a wolf for a very long time. Sure, maybe there was a connection there, but wolves are supposed to be social animals. And I *am* schizoid.

But that's literally the problem- obviously being schizoid would affect my wolfness as well. Maybe if I were in a pack, I would be okay with it, but the idea just kind of disgusts me, just like talking to humans disgusts me. I don't even want to be around my dogs sometimes because of it. So yes, my experience isn't exact- but, well, that's how my brain was made to adapt in this human society and my shitty, abusive childhood. Blame my fucking "parents", I guess.

Except ever since I was very small I would tell people I was an animal, for as long as I can remember I would try and make myself seem more animalistic and I'd pretend to "hunt", and I would run around on all fours until it became not socially acceptable to do so because I preferred that. This is an identity IV had for a very long time, but now I know what it's called.
