"Sorry for being gone for so long.."
Mouth screwing up in a pout, Weiss looked at him. “Well, what took you so long?” She asked, with a tinge of worry and concern lining her words. “I-I’m sorry I didn’t check in with you while we were both away.” Her hands come to a clasp awkwardly as she makes her apology. “Communication is a two way street after all…”
“I ah…” Venix trailed off, trying to think of a good excuse. He often took trips that kept him away for a few days or even a week at a time, but months apart from Weiss with no word? “Its a long story..” He finally said. “I guess that’s true for you to, isn’t it?” He could tell from the look on her face, and by how fast she had dropped her pout, that she had her own things keeping her busy. “I shoulda tried to send some kinda message too.”
“I suppose we both have our issues we need to work out.” She said matter-of-factly, folding her arms on her chest. “How are you doing?” Her expression softened.

Weiss~
Recently got an iPad (with an apple pencil) for school stuff and never thought it would work this well to draw. I am really happy since I’ll probably be drawing more now.
If I have to see this so will everyone else.
Once I realized I was capable of fighting, there was no longer a question of what I would do with my life. It was my duty.
-Weiss, Volume 2 Episode 9
{the entire city is without power due to a storm, and our muses run into each other during a supply run.} @ofbowsandcatears Weiss absolutely hated this. All of Beacon was without power. The school decided to pile all of its students into the cafeteria to prevent any violence or shenanigans that could occur. ‘An impromptu sleepover’, they called it. They should’ve called it ‘involuntary surveillance’ and Weiss would have been less aggravated. Even the bathrooms didn’t work! Every time someone had to relieve themselves in a pail was like a 16th century nightmare. When the clock struck 11pm, nature called and Weiss angrily took her respective pail and went outside. After done was done, Weiss decided to take a breather and let the night air relax her. Although the lack of light started to hurt her eyes she enjoyed the few minutes she was allowed outside. Standing on the terrace, Weiss felt another presence beside her. ‘Felt’, of course, being that Blake’s movements were almost inaudible. “Blake?” She said to her teammate “What are you doing out here?”
Everything around her was pitch black. Golden amber eyes surveyed the surrounding scene, already adapted to the darkness. Guess there are some advantages to being part cat. Even though the storm was over, the damage had been done. The entire school lost power, and right in the middle of reading a good book!
Blake wasn’t a particular fan of the rain, but she did find it to be oddly calming to her. After her and everyone else were stuffed in the cafeteria for safety reasons, Blake felt trapped. She hated being confined in such a tight spot, surrounded by the entirety of the school, and found it hard to sleep as a result. While she thought no one was looking, she made her way outside to get some fresh air. She often found solace in the peace and quiet that the darkness brought. The darkness she knew all too well, acting as a friend to her, being there when no one else was.
Then she detected someone nearby, ears perking up at the sudden noise. Though fortunately for her it was someone she knew, her fellow teammate Weiss.
“Oh, hi Weiss. I was just.. getting some air. It was really cramped in the cafeteria and I couldn’t sleep, so I snuck out for a quick walk. What about you?”
“Same here.” The heiress said, annoyed and folding her arms across her chest. “This bucket thing is so demoralizing! I feel like a prisoner...” She trailed off, shaking her head. “At least it’s a lovely night.” She said, breathing a heavy sigh into the wind. The broken moon in the sky was especially bright tonight and Weiss couldn’t figure out if that was good or bad.
