“ ... 𝟥 ... 𝟤 ... 𝟣 ! ” han opens his eyes , and -- immediately sees ben’s foot sticking out from under the bed. of all the places to hide on the falcon... yeah , he was definitely han’s kid. the man can’t help a smile , doing his best to hide it in his voice and as he walks slowly towards the cot. “ oh man , where could ben be ? ” he makes a calculated choice to sit down right above where his son’s head should be , an exaggerated sigh leaving him as he does so. 

just then , the door opens and chewie comes in with a curious growl. quickly , han puts a finger to his own mouth , jerking his head to the little foot. yeah , he was gonna have fun with this. 

“ ben and i were playing hide and go seek and i just can’t seem to find him anywhere , chewie ! ” han takes it a step further , flopping down on the little bed enough to make the whole this shake. “ what if i never find him ?! ”

i really hate that they forced poe to be a “ han solo ” character , when really he should have been his own character. pigeon-holing him into a archetype that dOEST MAKE SENSE WITH HIS INITIAL MOTIVATIONS & CHARACTERIZATIONS WAS SO DISRESPECTFUL !!

SO ANYWAY when finn, rey, and kylo we’re fighting at the end of tfa , chewie found han who was barely still alive and took him , unconscious , back to the falcon. he was in critical condition and when returned to the resistance it was decided that he would need to go somewhere stable if he were to heal. but ….. ya know ……. maybe leia knew that han’s death could Mean Something and making him a martyr could rile the troops. So he was shipped off to the remaining family leia had on naboo and word spread that hero of the rebellion han solo had died. but nah , your old man’s just kickin it by the lake on Naboo going stir crazy from being planet side and without leia or chewie for so long
