Burning Memories is a post-post apocalyptic game starting in 2219 Quebec. The player - the Traveler - starts their journey in the late fall. The first chapter's main story begins with a tale of potential starvation in the cities of this New Quebec as animals and factions war against one another. Will you help the civilians of Tamarack, side with the Bear Tears and start a new economy, wreck havoc with the Chainsaws, or forge your own path?

This is a longterm project we hope to develop into a game in the future and is still in the developing stages. We'd love support and further hype if anyone is interested!

I still find it pretty funny that in fallout 3 you can get your karma down by just opening Moriarty’s terminal over and over again.

The slavers at paradise falls have heard of me. I’m the guy that opens people’s computers over and over again without asking first.

The reason I’m doing this in the first place is that a lot of evil karma options in fallout 3 are just inconvenient. Like I could go out of my way to blow up a city or I could not blow up a city and get a much more convenient free house and keep access to their merchants.

So in order to keep getting the full evil karma experience, every time I do something convenient or utilitarian that raises my karma I go back to Moriarty’s Saloon and just open his terminal over and over again.

Thus, my good boy points are eliminated through repeated computer touching and the regulators here are hunting me down for looking at Moriarty’s personal data a hundred times in a row.

What’s really funny about lowering your karma this way is that after you do a major good Karma action and listen to the radio, the radio DJ Three Dog will be like this horrible fucker from vault 101 we all hate him so much you know that guy? He did another fucking thing. He saved a thousand orphans.

I refuse to believe the Mojave, Utah, NCR and the Legion are so... gringo after 200 years. México was right there, the frontiers are already gone, and in the lore they bothered in writing a US-Mexican war and a US invasion and annexation of territories, but that doesn't have any cultural implications? They didn't put much thought either in the languages nor the food. I know I know, time constraints and such, but come on, you telling me no one out there is mixing prewar totopos, elote, brahmin cheese and radioactive chilli straight in the bag, or that the legionaries don't drink horchata during their marching (a beverage that historically was considered by the Romans to have healing properties, even though it was made with a different base ingredient). It's eye rolling because you have really small groups of tourists creating new languages and cultures, but Mexico is zero relevant. For all we know, Raúl may be playing a prank on us and México and all of Latinoamerica is a utopia down there now that the US se fue finalmente al infierno.

not to rain on people's parade but #personal opinion incoming!! i don't care about fallout 3 or nv remaster i don't care i hope they never remaster fo3 and/or fnv actually because if they did it would be $70 and a physical copy would never be released and they'd try to make everyone in the game would look uncannily realistic while simultaneously not really achieving it and that'd take away a lot of the charm the games have. i don't give a shit about anything bethesda wants to make until it's a straight up new game and it doesn't have those fuckass dipshit writers trying to turn everything into fallout 4 skyrim powers edition. it's like how disney stopped making fully animated movies and just started making live action remakes because all of their new shit sucks and they can't think of anything people would like other than some other version of what they already like. bethesda stop doing remasters stop doing remakes stop updating and re-releasing your games but worse. make a new game. a good one.
