Hi here are some pics of Christy literally crying while singing In My Dreams
When akinator guesses the obscure broadway actor you're thinking of
The moment you know you're totally fucked but you see someone illegally recording you
So BOM's IG just quoted Taylor and I want to cry bc they just combined my two obsessions: Taylor and Broadway
Someone just posted on ig that Dear Evan Hansen is better than Hamilton and honestly I've never laughed harder.
if anyone has an anastasia boot i’ll pay u like $10 for it
@ anyone who has one: please do
THEEEE PAAARAAAAAAAAAADE TRAVELED ON
WITH THE SUN IN MY EYES SHE WAS GONE
BUT IF IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII WERE STILL TEN
IN THAT CROWD OF THOUSANDS I’D FIND HERRRRRRRR AAAAAAAGAIN

Heyyyy! So I'm trying really hard to save up for the holidays and help my family, and it would mean so so much to me if you could check out my Redbubble account! These designs and many more like it are all available on my Redbubble on various items like phone cases, tees, laptop covers, clocks, wall prints, and more. The design on the top left is my newest creation that will be added hopefully sometime tomorrow :) You can find me by searching the username KBonifer2 in the search bar on Redbubble.com and it would absolutely make my day if you bought even the smallest thing. (my stickers are really popular!) Pssst: and there are always sales going on if you catch them at the right moment! Tomorrow is Black Friday!
I've been putting this off for quite awhile, because I'm still in shock that such a beautiful piece of art could be disregarded in such a manner. (Also TW depression/suicide) Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 should not have been added to the list of Broadway shows that closed prematurely. It was such a vibrant, diverse show, and I honestly think Broadway wasn't ready for it. It was innovative and immersive in ways that other shows could simply never be. The cast and crew did not deserve the controversy and the mess that was created in the last month. Comet. Deserved. So. Much. More. It was the most nominated show this year at the Tonys. I don't even want to get into this argument, but there is one thing I want to cover regarding the whole claim about DEH being the only show this season to correctly convey "the average person with mental health/depression/anxiety issues". The problem with this claim is that it is entirely untrue. If you look deeper into comet, actually not really that much deeper, you'll understand what I'm talking about. Pierre was depressed. Pierre wanted to die. Pierre prefered shutting himself away to socializing. Pierre knew something terrible was inside him. Pierre felt that nothing and everything mattered. Pierre had a serious internal issue. Pierrre thought low of himself. Pierre was ridiculed. Pierre's feelings engulfed him in negativity. And in the end, Pierre wanted to wake up. Pierre had depression. Pierre had mental health issues. Comet wasn't just about a young girl who made a bad decision. Comet wasn't just about drunk Russians. Comet was a diverse show that people could see themselves represented in. Comet was a show about a girl who was manipulated and made a poor choice that affected everyone around her, and the man who made her smile when she thought her life was over. It's about a man with real and very serious mental issues. It's about how they saved each other. Comet was about happiness, freedom, life, and all the consequences those things brought. Even looking at Natasha's story in the end of act 2, we see mental health issues. She literally tries to commit suicide. She poisons herself with arsenic. You could look into so many other characters' stories and see how possible disorders or abuse or mental health issues affect them as well. You can even see it in Princess Mary's toxic connection to her father. He was an old man, but that did not excuse his behavior. In the end, I just hope that this show is recognized for the reasons mentioned above, and of course the countless other reasons the fans love it as well. It's immersive, it's diverse, it's deep, it's profound, it's relevant. I hope Comet is never forgotten because of these things. This is important, this is real. This is The Great Comet. It's not a goodbye, because this beautiful work of art isn't really "gone". The story lives on; the comet still shines. Thank you.
LMM read War & Peace while on vacation but just the chapters Dave Malloy adapted for great comet and I don't know if he has done anything more relatable.
