All or nothing
The air is crisp dry.
The sun glares into my eyes and offers me no shade to find refuge in.
Other lost travelers hold up their hands in protest.
‘Give us shade!’ They demand in unison, the skins on their faces are red.
Slowly the sun disappears, but the shade brings its own hardships. The growling in the dark makes the people shiver even more than the cold does
‘Give us sun!’ They cry in despair.
