Speaking Of Larry being a Rick rip off: Imagine: “Loki” using some kind of device to turn himself back to his OG form, Rick. And Rick is at the end of the RP saying “PSYCHE! It was me all along, bitches! You thought it was Loki, didn’t ya?” *Points at the chars* “Truth is I don’t give a fuck about any of you! I just wanted to break some fan’s balls! I’M LOKI RICK!” And he just uses his device to teleport away, leaving everyone confused, and the real Loki walks in and is all “WTF”. I’m drunk RN..

Have you noticed most Loki “fans” don’t care about Loki and only care about Sylvie or the variants and only care about Loki when they can frame him as the comic relief?

yes i have. can't blame them, though, since every single other character on this show was written to be far more interesting than tva!loki. to be honest, i find it really hard to care about him myself - he's just a bland, clownish office worker that does not resemble loki in the slightest. the only thing he and original loki have in common is being played by the same actor.

That's why I don't even consider him Loki. Some of us call him Larry. Helps make the distinction between him and og Loki.

I certainly don’t consider that caricature who appeared in the “Loki” series to be Loki.

For me, Loki died in Infinity War. Actually, he might have perished in The Dark World, movie end notwithstanding, because the Loki who appeared in Thor Ragnarok didn’t resemble the Loki I liked either. The Loki in Thor Ragnarok was also a clownish buffoon who was written as a narcissist. He wasn’t the only Thor character to suffer under Taika (*cough*Thor*cough*) but holy shit, was it ever clear from that film that Disney no longer cared about him at that point.

In my head Loki disappeared at the end of The Dark World. He planned to give the throne to Thor (who messed everything up by refusing). Maybe Odin was just in the Odinsleep and is still ruling Asgard. But Loki’s out there somewhere having fun by himself. I’m sure he’ll reconcile with his brother someday.

I hate what Ragnarok did to Loki and Thor, but I’ll always be really sad that Bruce Banner got caught up in all of that mess. Loved Bruce before that.

I had an awful dream. It was the first episode of season 2 of the Sylvie and the TVA show, and it began with Loki, who was now missing Sylvie, and as a joke, they basically did with him what Endgame did to Thor. Loki was fat and had scrappy facial hair and was eating junk food and getting drunk to “feel the void” Sylvie left in him, burping and such. The whole thing, like I said, was played out as a huge joke. Micheal was the man behind this scene and he kept going on about being proud of it.

This show has made Loki look so bad and has garnered so much hate for the character I legit saw someone on Twitter imply Loki is the Onision of the MCU, using Lindsay Ellis’s anti-Loki video as proof. I shit you not. You can tell most of these fucking “fans” haven’t watched a single movie Loki’s been in. They’re either calling him an awful, shitty, irredeemable monster, or they laugh at him because he’s “The funny selfcest meme man!! He’s such a dumbass weirdo!!! XDXDXD”

please... i want to cry everytime i think about what the mcu and his so called fans reduced him to. this is what we get for disney handing his character over to a bunch of amateurs and dudebros. where's kenneth branagh when you need him?

Just seen this

He lied to Loki about Frigga's death and blamed him for it even though he had no involvement in her murder

He lied about Loki's fate and purpose in order to break him into submission

He put him in a time loop where he would be beaten and humiliated repeatedly by Sif

He called him names

He never told Loki the truth about Frigga's murder not even at the end when he was hugging him. Like he never told him all the shit about his so-called "fate" was a lie to manipulate him.

And all this is ignoring him loving his job at the TVA ("My own glorious purpose. 'Cause the TVA is my life. And it's real because I believe it's real"), willingly pruning entire realities and not moving a finger when variants were treated as lesser beings useful only for a short period of time until they were disposed of like garbage.

Personally I don't hate Mobius at all, I think he's an interesting character but the framing almost ruined him. He's not a good guy, he's the exact opposite of that and hopefully in S2 he will change - but in order for that to happen and for him to be considered a "friend" to Loki he must acknowledge the pain he has caused and apologize to him like he did to Sylvie.

You’d have to be crazy to think season 2 is going to improve on this trash heap at all.  If Disney has proven the be reliable at one thing, it’s at ruining what once were good characters.  It’s just going to be the Sylvie show 2.0, with her once again showing Loki up in every, conceivable way, and Loki being a bumbling idiot for another 6 hours.

Mobius is cartoonishly evil. He gleefully delights in humiliating and torturing Loki (yes what he does to Loki meets the legal definition of torture...multiple times) and seems to revel in having power over him. Also he cheerfully carries out his job which is to obliterate entire realities (an act of genocide on a near unimaginable scale) without any sign of hesitation, regret, or remorse. He’s a great villain but given his willing and eager participation in genocide, murder, torture, enslavement, forced labor, and unjust imposition of rule, he is absolutely not a good or likable person. If his evil had been acknowledged he could’ve been a great character. But the fact that he does all this and is framed as a hero is appalling and offensive. And deeply harmful, as evidenced by the fact that people are parroting the Disney PR and saying that what he did was acceptable and justified and that he is in any way a nice or moral person.
