any âhero storyâ is likely to promote the âgreat man theoryâ which is a deadly and grotesque virus on the western mind.
complimented a womans clear raincoat this morning and she said Well i feel like a sandwich
This just pissed me off so baaaad đ
Is there anything sadder than the little chunk of Kikis Delivery Service when Kiki says âI used to really like flying before it was my jobâ and then gets so burned out that her magic stops working and she cant talk to Jiji anymore and she tries so hard to FORCE the magic that she breaks her mothers broom and stays up all night, alone, trying to make a new one and crying?
And I know it is all ok in the end- Kiki has friends who look out for her and she takes care of herself and finds her place.
But fuck, those 20 minutes just hurt my heart so much.
Scientists invented a fake disease. AI told people it was real: Nature.com
I'm a bit frightened for the time when someone less ethical than the person that did this decides to repeat the experiment but leave out the part where they come in later and announce that it was fake and people wind up diagnosed with the fake condition and all kinds of wacky hi jinks ensues.
every fleetwood mac documentary i've ever watched is like "the band was at the height of their success, enjoying the fame rolling in from their #1 hit 'i know about the other woman, lindsey'. however, nobody could have sensed the tension brewing between members."
