there should be more art of women killing their rapists. in general it should be a normalized practice to call out twisted people--as opposed to how normalized it is to find out how twisted people are--and anyway, something that happens to one in five women (?) should not be so taboo, especially at the victims' expense. art should disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed, you know? seeing people call out their abusers unashamed comforts me, and i know it comforts other people just the same. i really don't care if people think it's too harsh on the rapist.

men and porn have turned sex from something beautiful and transcendental into a disgusting outlet used to degrade, humiliate, and torment women and it really depresses me
every time that I’m reminded about how common it was for women to birth like 14 children just ~4ish generations ago (where I live/in my culture, obviously the timeline can be much different for other societies) I feel such a deep horror. Seriously, imagine what that would be like. Really picture the details of what it would mean to birth and raise that many children, and likely lose a few on the way. The brutality of it on your body and your mind. And that’s how the common woman lived until only very recently. That was your life, the track you were slotted into from the moment you were born, to your own mother who probably had just as many children in her lifetime.
I consider how lucky I am to happen to have been born when and where I was. Billions of women haven’t had this luck. And it’s entirely possible that billions more won’t have it, either. Women’s rights don’t progress on a linear track. If we don’t constantly continue to fight, if we take what we have for granted as permanent, the past can easily become the future.

Brett Kavanaugh sits on the Supreme Court of the United States despite being a rapist. He voted to overturn Roe v. Wade. Thousands of women have already been forced to carry children conceived through rape to term because of abortion bans - bans that were put in place by white conservatives.
People spent months vehemently defending woman beater and rapist, Johnny Depp. Rapists like Roman Polanski and Luc Besson continue getting funding and praise for their films. People STILL defend Woody Allen.
The Catholic Church has had so many rape scandals that it's literally impossible to quantify the number of victims.
White men spend millions every year traveling to countries like Thailand to sexually exploit (aka rape) impoverished women and children.
Men abuse the women they have access to. That's more often than not women in their own demographics, and you're more likely to be raped by someone you know than by a stranger. If you really think white men are less dangerous, you've fully drunk the white supremacist Koolaid.
Oh no no, that doesn't count because...the US isn't the only white majority country. And we'll just forget:
-the prostitution hellhole that is Germany
-the decriminalization of domestic violence in Russia as well as the rapes of Ukrainian women
-France's lack of age of consent until recently (and it's only 15) and housing of pedophile Roman Polanski
-the UK's arrests of women for speaking out on the trans stuff and lack of no fault divorce
-Canada's continued failure to properly investigate missing and murdered Indigenous women as well as an age of consent of only 16
-Australia's domestic violence problem
-New Zealand's prostitution problem
-Poland's roll-back of abortion rights (which were strict to begin with)
-Ireland's lack of abortion rights after 12 weeks, resulting in a woman's death from sepsis that made national news not that long ago
-a girl in Ukraine gang-raped and set on fire by three men resulting in her death three weeks later where ALL of the (white) men walked free and only one was even charged
This is literally just off the top of my head, like...
Can we talk about the tons of white men pouring into Thailand, Philippines and other Global South countries purely for "sex tourism" (aka paid rape or unpaid* rape + non-consensual filming of Asian women) or "mail order brides" (aka the idea of a submissive woman to rape consistently)
In other SEA countries, local women warn each other off of white men traveling WITH THEIR FEMALE PARTNER bec of stories of the man trying to coerce Asian women into sex and his white female partner doesn't care

The entire sex tourism point is also very salient... tbh it seems to me like a lot of white men will attempt to pander to white women with the racial aspect (I.e. "white men would NEVER do this") much in the same way that a lot of conservative ideologies pander to men ("we would NEVER allow this to happen!").
OK idk how coherent this is gonna be but it reminds me a bit of racism being used as a tool to halt working-class unity. I think a lot of white men believe (either consciously or unconsciously) that racist ideologies will:
a. Make them more palatable to women generally without having to put in any effort whatsoever (the 'just be white' strategy)
b. Increase 'competition' in women > break down alliances between women who will hold them accountable for bad behavior
c. Create a societal bogeyman that makes them look like the hero.
Typical male narcissism but with a nasty twist. The fact is that these SAME white men who decry men of other races for these behaviors turn around and do it as soon as they get the fucking chance (see all examples above: sex tourism, war, soliciting prostitution).
Anyway sorry to kind of hijack things, but a lot of this discourse and the racism coming from european radfems was really fucking disappointing and stupid. Pull your head from your ass and stop listening to the tradcath and altright orbiters, girl. They are THE SAME they BENEFIT from making you think this way!!! And if these truly are ur own opinions (the racist stuff).... Idk you need to read something with a lot more intellectual rigor and learn to critically think a little.
You're not hijacking at all. All of these points are good ones and were brought up to the racists. I repeated their replies in my sarcastic (oh no no) responses. There's no actual logic to it and they just keep shifting goalposts and deflecting, and when they can't do that they just straight up ignore it.
