My woodelf character Nia \o/ Both pictures were taken at a LARP in Germany. It's amazing how some photographers manage to "hide" between the players of such an event to prevent breaking the immersion of a fantasy setting. Dirk clearly was one of those cool people ;) And, damn, I'm always happy when I get photos of my characters in "action"!

Queen of Yharnam inspired photoshoot :) A costume that got knocked out really spontaneously. Sabrina was on vacation in Austria and met an old friend and photographer - Daniel of Contralux.at - there. They decided to work together to create some Bloodborne inspired photoshoot. Some edited picture of me in my Cassandra Pentaghast costume \o/ I really love how the first version of the outfit turned out. The next step is to sew the coat for it, then some armor and also the Inquisition's sword have to be made. Looking forward to it! *cough* I found my old, grey wig (that I used for a Sith costume some time ago) in my cellar today and decided to test how I could look like as Viktor. Dan and I are planning to cosplay him and Yuuri anyway, so... yeah, well xD” I already ordered a good wig for my Viktor outfit though. As soon as I have it, I’ll do a better makeup test, I promise! \o/ We plan to cosplay the casual outfits of Yuuri and Viktor in 2017. And we will also sew the “Stand close to me”- and “Eros”-costumes later on. I’m also thinking about cosplaying as young Viktor... I just love this damn Anime so much TAT ahahaha. Kill me.

I’ll be one of the special guests of the Tunisian Game Awards this weekend :) I will be there as a cosplay representative and also as a speaker, holding a talk about Videogames, identity narration and cosplay: “The world is connected and people constantly wander between different realities: Between the “real life” and the virtual reality. So it wouldn’t feel right to talk about the everyday life as “the one true reality” and the life on screen as “non-reality in the computer”. This would not suit the lifestyle of the 21st century with its importance of digital worlds. Some examples of the existence of multiple realities would be the heavy use of social networks, smartphone apps or intelligent household systems; but also gamification. Video games become more and more mainstream, nearly everyone plays them and they are one of our most important “parallel worlds”. The cliché of the exclusively male-dominated, social awkward computer game scene is completely outdated. Games are casual. But what makes video games so popular? What fascinates the users about them and why are so many people attracted to the fantastic worlds on screen? Why do people go to video game conventions or join gaming fandoms, go even further and start cosplaying as their favorite characters? In my presentation I want to answer those questions and talk about identity development via computer games and their characters. About how video games are virtual playgrounds we can use to experiment with different personalities and how people take those concepts into the „real life“ via cosplay. I want to share my thoughts about the influence of games on people’s minds and vice versa, their worldviews, morals and ethics. Some important points regarding this topic are: Identifying and bonding with avatars or settings, gender and sex, relationships on the screen and, of course, costume play.” If you’re in Tunis, drop by and say Hi! <3

Getting ready for Halloween! \o/ We will have a small Addams Family group and we will rock! I’m amazed by how different I can look just by applying makeup and wearing a wig... I mean I’m cosplaying for some years now but I still get really excited about looking like a stranger, hahaha! Our costumes are still in progress but I’ll upload some pics soonish :)
