something more than blood was leaking from snape. silvery blue, neither gas nor liquid, it gushed from his mouth and his ears and his eyes.
One of my favorite drawings, Severus being Severus

LOVE your Grimmauld place art!! Just wondering… Who is the skeleton in the basement?
Thank you so much!! To be honest, I didn't have anyone in particular in mind, the house of Black just seems like the type of family to immure someone and then just kind of forget about it... Considering Auntie Araminta's fun ideas about legalised muggle hunting, I'd say we have a lot of options to pick from.
why are Snape and CatGonagall in the basement I need to know
Snape's out collecting Potion ingredients in his natural habitat. McGonagall is accompanying him, because going down into the basement of a house that wants to kill you alone is not a great idea. You might get, say, cornored by a set of freerange armour with a rather large sword
Grimmauld Place, haunted house...
OKAY so a couple of months ago, I came across a post proposing something interesting about technology and magic. It argued that magic seems to create sentience/intelligence in everything it comes into contact with (clever pets, the Weasley’s car, magical objects, etc.).
And I’ve been thinking of an AU where that extends to places! So imagine a version of HP where houses become more alive the more they are subjected to magic, and maybe their personalities are determined by the kind of magic they come into contact with. Semi-subservient to wizards, possibly replacing house elves.
Hogwarts would be one of the most intelligent buildings in the UK, because of the centuries worth of young wizards coming through. The Burrows would be very maternal and family-oriented, tucking people in and making you eat your greens.
And, well, Grimmauld Place would be a maddened, evil, haunted house. Think the mansion of Haunting of Hill House. After years of being subjected to black magic, it hates being a hideout. It tries everything to spit out the order. Sirius has it the worst: he threatens to burn the place to the ground and the house retaliates by filling his room with black mold. After taking over as owner it takes Harry years to domesticate the place.

I lost the post, but I read something recently about how The Author said that Snape put the sword in the pool on a "spiteful whim." But I have a hard time believing the main reason Mr. "Brew Glory" used the pond was that he realized he could reference Excalibur, got excited, and then acted it out in a sleep-deprived haze. (But there was definitely spite involved and he absolutely enjoyed it.)
One of my favourite genres: Severus finally breaking under pressure, Sirius having to deal with "Severus Snape is a human person too" understanding 🥺🥺🥺
It's interesting in both directions I saw it: when they hate each other and it forces Sirius to see human in Snape or when they are already on kinda friendly terms (at least they tolerate each other) but Sirius doesn't see how much pain there is inside of Snape and has to finally see it to full extent.
These guys' hurt/comfort scenes are always a gourmet dish but it gets too salty from my tears too fast 🙃
this is mean but honestly some of the die-hard marauders fans turn me off to those characters. i think its because a lot of them are teenagers. lmao
I've got such mixed feelings. Because like, good on the teens for feeling inspired by a fic. And I'm very aware that my withered-lesbian-heart is NOT the target audience. But every time I go into the Sirius tag, I can't help but feel that this Friends quoting twink has stolen my man's identity, and he needs to be reported to the FTC...
Picked these up at a local flea market today! Drew Snape for scale
