Jim sat himself at the island as they entered the kitchen, giving a silent nod for an answer. He could tell Sebastian was sorry for his little outburst, and the uncharacteristic silence on his own part was probably unnerving. Still fiddling with the plastic bag, Jim decided to be merciful and end his husband’s torment.
“’K,” was the mumbled reply, a shoulder shrug the went from one side to the next, and then Jim was wiggling himself more comfortably upon the stool. He opened the bag of marshmallows, and stuck his little hand in.
Sebastian gathered up the bowl and a spoon, watching Jim. He felt terrible still and was now trying to cheer his adorable little maniac up. “So-” Sebastian set the bowl on the counter and slipped the spoon inside of it, standing right next to James. “-how about I get you some juice or chocolate milk to go with those?” He lifted hand to his maniac’s puffy cheek, delicately caressing down it with the back of his fingers.

Jim relished the feeling of his husband’s worn flesh, rough and comforting against his skin. Turning his head to gaze upward, eyes out of focus slightly as if he was sleepy, Jim gave a soft twitch of a smile.
“Ok. Chocolate milk,” he decided, already choosing to use some for his cereal. The vast shift from mood to mood, along with Sebastian’s balancing touch, had Jim feeling almost lightheaded.
“Sure thing, babe.” Sebastian smiled a little and then made his way over to the fridge to extract the chocolate milk. He also pulled out a little vanilla puddin’ cup that he brought over for his ‘vanilla puddin’ cup’. “Here…” Moran set the cup down next to the bowl and proceeded to pour the milk for his little maniac, first in the cereal and then in a glass he had to go fetch from the cupboard. He brought that back over and returned to the fridge, quiet as he replaced the milk and the took a spot right next to Jim at the island. Sebastian rested on his elbows as he had his hands placed together at his chin and mouth, silently studying his husband.

Jim eagerly grabbed the unexpected pudding cup, tearing off the top. He had forgotten they had any left. Licking the top, Jim grabbed his spoon before Sebastian poured his milk, digging into the delicious treat.
Looking up from half-a-cup down, Jim made sudden eye contact with his still husband. It was the comfortable quiet that had pulled Jim out of his focused task, and now he blinked and gave a startled smirk.
“What?” he asked, in the petulant voice of a spoiled child. “What’re ya looking at?” Jim asked, eyes darting to his husband’s blue.
“What’s mine.” He teased as he smirked a little in a cocky sort of way, explaining with a faux seriousness. “It’s my right as a husband. I can’t always touch you but I can look at you when I want.” Sebastian kept his staring up, attempting to keep a serious expression which was difficult at the moment. His little maniac was too adorable.
