hetalia lore questions for the fandom to think about!
(these aren't supposed to have any "right" answer. they're just little things i've thought about and believe it would be cool if the fandom expanded on things like this more often! all of these are 100% up for you as individuals to ponder and decide on.)
apart from their immortality, what powers do they have? do they all have the same powers or do they differ from country to country?
we know hungary has talked to "god" before; can all nations do that?

if it's the latter, what does the mystical nation language look like? sound like?
do nations have their own tales they tell the younger generation? any myths or fables? do they see the constellations differently than us? flowers and trees and oceans? what legends do they have to explain these things, if at all?
do they have any slang? any insults?
how does a mainland nation regard an island one and vice versa? how does an industrial nation regard an agricultural one? do these differences matter at all to them?
do modern nations worship the ancients in any way? do they see them as inherently more righteous, more holy, a better specimen of what their kind should be?
how do nations come into existence? do they just pop into the world? are they born? do they sprout like cabbages? are all of these possible?
can they reproduce or are they all infertile? if two nations were to conceive a child, what would become of it? what about a nation and a human?
how are homosexuality or interracial couples regarded among them? does their opinion differ based on how conservative/liberal their country is as a whole, or are these things that have just been commonly accepted for centuries because of their roles?
what about sex in general? is it used as a way to make a deal, to solidify agreements, alliances, or treaties? is it viewed in the same way many humans view it, as something sacred to be had between two nations who genuinely feel for each other? or do they just not care?
if a nation were to fall in love with another, what would happen if their two countries then went to war? would the existence of the conflict cause their feelings to naturally wane, or would the human aspect kick in and would the love remain?
how strong of a tie do nations feel to their citizens, and does this change based on their type of economy or government?
does a nation's body naturally have more resistance to hardship than a human's, or do they just die like we do and then come back to life? if they have enhanced durability, how much? how much stress can their body take before it finally gives out?
england and japan are shown to have personal assistants. how does a human get this job? is it something that's inherited or can they ease into it just like another government position?
what affects do a booming population, industrial revolutions, good economies, etc. have on their physical forms?
romania, norway, and england possess magic; why can they do it and no one else?
among their kind, what makes a good and honorable nation? how do these qualities differ from what a human might say?
when they die and are waiting to regenerate, what do they see? do they visit the nation afterlife temporarily? do they hallucinate?
what does a nation hold dearest? their citizens? their government? the others of their kind? is one of these answers commonly accepted to be the right one?
germany, in one episode, is shown to be wearing military medals. did he earn these or were they given to him symbolically?
do romantic endeavors tend to be whirlwind encounters or can they last? do nations love fiercely but shortly, or can they actually hold a steady relationship?
assuming humans know of nations, do they associate anything with their kind? colors, plants, animals?
have any of them ever fallen victim to an assassination attempt? not by another country, but by a human?
in the grand scheme of things, how much power does a nation truly have? if they wished to stop their boss's decision to declare war, could they do so? or are they just figureheads and are at the mercy of their government?
how are relationships between humans and nations viewed? are they shunned? frowned upon? pitied? accepted?
this is all i have for now! i think about things like this a lot and adore the idea of a collective nation culture of sorts. it's nice to get it out there.
