I’ve been rewatching a lot of Luke and Leia interactions for a fic that I’m writing, and can we talk about how kind and gentle Leia is with Luke compared to how she is with anybody else.

This firecracker of a person gives everyone else hell (justifiably so). She’s constantly ragging on Han, she slaps Poe, she completely drags Tarkin and Vader on their own ship.

But from the moment she meets Luke she’s just like “who is this kind soul and who allowed him to wander from the desert”. Queenie literally takes the time to comfort him after her entire planet explodes. She never barbs him like she does with everyone else - even though he probably definitely deserves it a lot of the time.

I just love the space twin dynamic.
