I remember seeing this Drabble a while back(I unfortunately don’t know by who) but it was basically about how the batkids in their civilian identity wouldn’t be able to do cool flips and tricks that they learned from being a vigilante but dick could because everyone knows about his backstory so of course it makes sense that he knows all these flips because he grew up in circus

This had me thinking that in that scenario what if it was the reverse. Like obviously people expect the kid who grew in the circus to basically be a body contortionist and to be able to do a bunch of tricks but it would be just a little strange if a vigilante could do those exact tricks that are clearly needed to be trained from practically birth to be able to do

I’m just yapping does this even make sense

I think it would be so funny if nobody actually knew about Batman’s no kill rule (obviously excluding the batfam) especially with how he acts in Batman Arkham knight. Some of his lines are literally “don’t make me crack your skull open and look for answers inside” and “lie to me if you’re done eating solid food” which I find hilarious😭

Rouges would be a million more times terrified of the already scary Batman and every time one walks away still breathing they think it’s because of luck or one of the other bats calming him down or the Bat not wanting to kill in front of his robin.

Do yall remember that one trend where girls would put dry pasta in their mouth then ask their boyfriend/husband or whoever to help crack their back and then bite down on it when they do and then the boyfriend freaks out thinking they broke their back? Imagine that but with Clark

Okay building onto my last post

Imagine that Peter is mid battle with some newish villain in New York. One moment he’s fighting next moment he’s falling through the sky unable to see his surrounds due to all smog and darkness. He’s unable to fully understand his surrounds but he is able to make out another person swinging towards him in what he can only assume to be a grapple hook before he promptly passes out either due to his injuries or due to the transportation.

In the POV of the bats, specifically Nightwing, oracle pings over coms that there’s been a sudden change in the energy waves. Nightwing, already being in the area swings over only to see his son falling through the air clearly on longer conscious.

By time Peter is brought to the cave the bats have already figured out that this Peter is from a different universe given that their Peter is still here and just like the others is extremely confused at seeing another version of himself. They remove his mask to better check his injuries only to see how bruised his face is and how almost hallow he looks which enrages them because they know about his powers and how his metabolism needed him to eat constantly and the fact that he was so beaten up.

Peter eventually wakes up and his extremely confused and shocked at the fact that not only does he know where he is or who these seemingly other vigilantes are but the fact they had removed his mask and is immediately ready to fight them despite being outnumbered. The bats are confused by this because why doesn’t Peter recognize them?

Eventually everything gets figured out and Peter understands that he’s in another universe and he and the bats try to figure out how to get Peter back home

Uhh yada yada dick is upset because something happened for his son even if from a different universe to clearly not be getting fed enough and not in a safe environment uh and yeah (I wrote this completely on a whim and it is not proofread)

I’ve been getting into marvelxDC as of recently though more specifically Peter getting sent into Gotham and dick being his biological parent so this had me thinking like what if the same thing happened where Peter got sent into Gotham but there was already a Peter in that universe living with the bats

Okay but imagine that Clark actually does need glasses to see and while being Superman he just can’t see shit and fights using his other super sense help him out in battle until he finds out contacts exist

Something amazing just came to mind and it’s DPxDC once again. I will try to explain what I’m imagining but it will suck so please bare with me

Basically scarecrow escapes again and the bats obviously go to hunt him down and bring him back to Arkham. Chaos and yada yada happens though but mid battle scarecrow releases his fear toxin. The bats are prepared for this given that it’s scarecrow and they know his antics so they go to pull out their rebreathers Damian’s however is broken due to earlier in the battle where he had crashed harshly into a surface surface causing his rebreather to get damaged without it being noticed. However this fact isn’t noticed until Damian had already taken in enough of the gas to start freaking out. The bats rush to get the battle over which thankfully goes well while a few others try to stable Damian. Before any of the fear toxin antidote can get be given to Damian the rest of the bats can hear things like “danyal”, “I’m sorry”, and “forgive me” being hastily muttered under Damian’s breathe

The next day the bats are obviously not just concerned over the health of Damian but also curious about who this danyal person is and his relationship to Damian( is it another person like Ra’s who emotionally and mentally manipulated Damian or more like Talia who was still caring to Damian?) Over the next few days or so it’s eventually revealed that Danyal is Damian’s twin brother who one day disappeared after a previous sparing match in which Danyal lost leading to Damian constantly blaming himself for his brothers more than likely death given that while it wasn’t directly said it was clear that Ra’s only wanted one heir and decided to get rid of one of them choosing between whoever won their spar without telling them what would be the price of losing.

The bats are obviously distraught over the fact that not only did they have another brother/son who is more than likely dead but also that all these years Damian had been blaming himself meanwhile while Ra’s did plan to kill danyal, Talia, not being able to let her son die, pleaded with Ra’s to spare his life and instead send him live else where with no relation to the league which leads to Danyal now Danny being sent to live in amity park

I imagine that Bruce knows practically every language either to the point of being completely fluent or knowing enough to the point where he can hold a basic conversation with a native speaker but now imagine that whenever he’s not fully coherent for whatever of the multitude of reason that could be he starts speaking in a different language and then tries to correct himself only to speak in another language and this continues until he just gives up and stops trying to talk OR he doesn’t even realize that he’s speaking in another language and whoever he’s talking to like one of the batkids who don’t know that language just has to nod along like they understand what he’s saying

I like to imagine that because Bruce has been exposed to so many different cultures and different social norms for specific areas weather that being due to his travels across the world or due to being thrown across different places in time he has just become so desensitized to everything

Like imagine Bruce is at a gala or something and he’s talking to someone who’s from a foreign country or whatever and still hasn’t fully adapted to all the basic social norms of America and accidentally says or does something that would be considered offensive and the person along with others in the gala who are nearby just freeze some either angered by what that person said/did and some others shocked but Bruce immediately interprets what they actually mean and he just continues on like normal to the half shock of everyone else around because of course he doesn’t realize what was just said mid conversation was offensive

Okay but imagine that back when Bruce first brought in dick and after he got over the initial trauma and grief of his parents death, Bruce offered to sign dick up for trapeze, Aerial, or similar any similar classes for dick to join who was obviously ecstatic to go because he had thought that after he left the circus to go live with Bruce he wouldn’t be able to do anything like that again so he obviously says yes to Bruce’s offer.

When Bruce brings dick to the class and leaves after dropping him off everything initially starts out fine but when dick sees other people swinging high up and doing tricks all the terror he felt on the day of his parents death just comes crashing back along with the images of his parents falling, their mangled bodies, and the blood splattered everywhere keep flashing through his mind. Dick gets filled with so much fear and anxiety that it’s going to happen again as he sees the them swinging high and doing trick to the point that he’s just unable to move as he watches in pure terror until he just starts crying profusely to the point Bruce has to be called to come pick up dick who’s unconsolable

When Bruce arrives, dick runs into his arms still crying as the instructors tell Bruce what happened though still clearly confused as the boy had just suddenly started crying though Bruce completely understands why dick started crying. Bruce takes dick back the car as they drive back home. Alfred makes him cookies as Bruce decides to take dick out of the classes to till he dick is able to handle it (he won’t be able to)

Even years later when dick is nightwing and his family is much larger the trauma of seeing people doing stunts on the thing that caused his parents death still causes him to feel a twinge of anxiety but it’s much more manageable now

I’m going to build on to my previous post because my mind doesn’t stop thinking

Damian and Danny sit together in their old room after quite a while of holding each other and tears being shed. Once both finally aren’t crying anymore they both notice clear differences in the other. Damian sees how aged emotionally danyal looks despite supposedly being in a cryogenic state for the past few years. Not just that but physical changes too. His eyes that were once a clear blue just like their father’s are now littered with small green specs that are hard to see at if you aren’t looking but become hard to ignore once they’re noticed, different from the normally fully green eyes that Lazarus victims develop. Danny notices how much older his brother looks now from how he last remembers him though that’s expected. New facial scars, small yet noticeable but he also looks…softer..a word that their grandfather and mother would have never allowed them to use to describe anything about themselves.

Danny can’t help but wonder what his twin had been up to all these years which leads into Damian explaining how he’s met and now lives with their father in Gotham New Jersey along with people he cares enough about to call siblings along with taking up the role as robin, a vigilante. Danny is slightly shocked by this information. He had always known they had a father though it was more of a subconscious though than an active one. The pieces that Danny had been previously ignoring also beginning to click together as he realizes who those wierd costume wearing people were who Damian had originally came in with.

Despite the two being more than happy to see each other again it’s clear as the days pass that the years spent apart changed them. To Danny, it’s clear his brother is much patient than before. Not as aggressive or leading as he used to be. To damian, Danyal isn’t how he used to be despite the fact that if he was in a cryogenic states for the past few years he shouldn’t have changed much. Damian had fully expected his brother to act as how did around the time he had died but he didn’t. He acts as if he had experienced the world that continued on after he died though Talia had insisted that she had only revived danyal a couple hours ago the day they had met again. Too much has changed in his brother for Damon to not be at least a bit suspicious

As the days continue on though Damian’s suspicions that something changed with his brother only grow. it’s clear danyal’s skills are more refined than before his death not just that but he’s clearly much more secretive. His brother who once used to share every little detail with him now hardly tells Damian what he does when hidden for majority of the day and why he keeps needing to do a supposed task.

For Danny however he still has to deal with his ghost king troubles. Not only does his sudden disappearance have his friends, ghost or otherwise concerned, but he still has his duties as being a protecter, managing the ghost zone, defending the realm and so many other matters that need his constant attention.

Though with the bats, chaos is much more clear. Nobody has slept more than 5 hours since Damian left if at all. There’s no information they have on Damian’s supposed twin given that nobody had ever told anyone even just the slightest hint that Damian has a twin and that they had family member. Dick is the closest to snapping and barging back in to the league and bring both his baby brothers back home no matter the price but is just barley held back held back by Bruce who is no less distraught.

Damian can hardly say he regrets ‘going back’ to the leauge for his brother. He and both Talia face punishment for disobeying ra’s orders but even with that punishment Damian would pick it a millions times over if it meant he got to be with his brother again. Even then, Damian knows his family is coming back for both of them.

Yet another thought that has been plaguing my mind yet this time it’s DCxDP demon twins AU

Originally, Ra’s didn’t want two heirs. Talia, however, wanting to protect her children, managed to convince her father that there was use for the other twin outside of taking over the demon head and Ra’s reluctantly agreed. As time went on Danyal and Damian were inseparable. While in the league however a mission the two were sent on failed and Danyal died.

The pits were used but nothing happened. Damian pleaded with his grandfather for them to try again but Ra’s wasn’t willing to. He had originally only wanted one grandson and was given two. Damian had always been a faster learner than Danyal anyways. He was stronger and all around more skilled than Danyal was so he refused given he saw no use in trying to revive Danyal again when it already failed the first time and in Ra’s eyes Danyal was the lesser heir. Talia however couldn’t agree to this.

Despite her fathers orders to not revive Danyal Talia went behind his back, took Danyal’s body and uses the leagues technology to keep it in a cryogenic stasis till a time came where she could use the pits to try and revive her baby

Years pass and Damian goes to live with Bruce and becomes disobedient to the league and his grandfather. For Danny though the failed use of the lazarus pits while being dead caused him to become a halfa. While being a halfa Danny still meets all his friends and lives in amity park and all that good stuff (don’t ask me how if his body his still with Talia). Both boys grieve the other believing that they will never see the other again yet tell nobody that they’re a twin and that they had a brother deciding that it’s better to keep it to themselves.

One day Danny feels a pull. Not like a summoning pull as the ghost king, no this one feels different. He blinks and he’s suddenly back in the body he died in, in front of his mother and his grandfather.

With Damian, he and some other member of his family were already on the way the league of assassins after Bruce had gotten news they were trying to revive someone. Once there they see not that they were just too late based off the small boy standing in front of Talia but they also see that the boy looks exactly like Damian but with blue eyes like Bruce and slightly paler skin. They at first think that Talia cloned Damian again and the clone came out incorrect but Damian knows better.

In a moment of shock Damian drops his katana that he had been previously holding in a battle ready stance, an action that he would have never done in his right state of mind. All attention falls onto Damian as he rushes over to the boy in front of his mother and the two collapse into their knees in a hug. The boy Damian is hugging is crying given that they can see his face from the nook of Damian’s neck unlike Damian who’s back is turned to them but it’s still clear that Damian is crying too based off the trembling in his shoulders which only confuses the bats more. Who was this kid? Why was Damian crying over him? But they were pulled out of their thoughts by the sound of ra’s voice.

“This was how it was meant to be, Batman. You with your group of pest and me with my heirs.” Ra’s said with his hands placed on the heads of both boys under him

“Heirs?” Bruce responded in question, emphasizing the plural part, confusion and anger clear in his voice

Ra’s explains the whole story to the distress of the bats. Bruce, along with the rest of the bats are horrified over this information. This whole time they had another kid/sibling who had been dead up until recently who they were never told about.

Ra’s calls both boys to stand both who do so without complaint and without letting go of the other. Ra’s orders them both to leave and just as they start to move to do so one of the bats call out to Damian.

“Damian!—you can’t just-“

But Damian cuts them off

“I have to..I can’t—I can’t leave him again..I’m sorry”

It sounds so unlike Damian. They’ve never heard him speak so soft, so broken, so hurt.

As the two boys leave the bats have no other choice but to retreat back to the cave to plan on how to get both Damian and whoever their new addition to the family is back.

Not only is this my first ever post but I don’t plan to post much on this account but I’ve been having a thought that has been absolutely plaguing my mind and I must get it out.

So Bruce is pale. He’s not the palest of the batfam (that title obviously goes to Tim) but he’s close enough. Because of his paleness, he flushes easily and because of that I keep imagining one specific scenario.

Whenever Bruce drinks he flushes quite easily and while that may help whenever he’s acting as Brucie at a gala or wherever else and pretending to be drunk the flush in his cheeks tends to help in sealing the deal but I also like to imagine that he doesn’t even notice how flushed he gets and while that may not matter when he’s acting as brucie in certain other situations it does.

The main scenario I keep imagining this thought in is Bruce being with the Justice League(pre-identity reveal) and they decide to play a drinking game or something that involves alcohol and Bruce trusts the Justice League enough at this point to have a glass but that singular glass of alcohol is enough to cause the skin that’s left uncovered by his cowl to flushed

Bruce dosent even notice that his cheek are straight pink but the justice league absolutely does which causes them to think that THE Batman is a light weight and that in that very moment he is absolutely hammered. Bruce, in his oblivious self, doesn’t even notice that the other Justice league members think he’s drunk as hell right now and sees nothing of the fact that they keep offering him water and telling him to take it easy in subtle ways.

It maybe even gets to the point that the JL calls one of Batman’s associates (nightwing, Red Robin, or someone else) to bring him back to where the Gotham vigilantes stay whenever not fighting crime. Whichever batkid that was called to come to pick up Bruce was initially confused because of the league being overly vague about why Batman needed to come and get picked up but once they get to the watch tower and they see the cups of alcohol along with the very flushed cheeked Batman they understand everything and absolutely play into the incorrect idea that Batman is a light weight and that he is indeed absolutely hammered right now.

The batkid is question is doing things like patting Bruce to lean on them and half hugging him to ‘help’ keep his balance and Bruce is more than willing to let this happen because he’s getting a change to hug his kid. the JL seeing how compliant Batman is being are even more convinced that he is completely drunk right now.

Bruce is still slightly confused about the JL’s strange attitude by time they get to the bat cave and when told by whichever batkid picked him up that the Justice leauge thought he was drunk out of his mind after a couple glasses of alcohol he just sits there with pursed lips and doesn’t say anything else for the night while silently considers to follow after Cass’ full mask idea

This is so bad
