Anyway hi I'm 26, I do costuming for fun, I'm nonbinary (they/them) and genuinely I just wasn't getting enough Ghost content so I got tumblr again.

I don't know tumblr etiquette, I feel like a peepaw on this app after mostly using FB for so long and I never used tumblr much when I was younger anyway tbh. I might post stuff on here at some point but for now it is my little hyperfixation haven so I can look at people's lovely works and posts and such.

I have some thoughts abt the new album. It sounds very similar to me to Phantomime. This makes me feel like it supports my idea V actually idolizes Copia and admires him, and is trying to recreate some of his style. Copia i think obviously thinks hes just copying him to mock him or do better etc. V just thinks hes so cool and wants to uphold this vastly important role suddenly given to him 💔 another way hes similar to Copia, he was given the papa role (supposedly) so unexpectedly

Across all of the Tobias interviews there's a big theme of acknowledging everyone who supported the Ghost Project. They even literally show up masks off in the music video. It feels like that's going to be the emotional theme of Skeletá- revealing the supports beneath the surface. The inner workings.

If Impera was a scream of rage against empires and Tobias says this album is more introspective, it must emphasize how much we need to acknowledge and support our immediate neighbors and collaborators. There's no phones at the concerts because he wants the audience to meld and recognize the people around them making the vibe happen.

Tobias doesn't care about the lore. He cares about the humans that make the lore real. The artists who imagine things with him.
