I love this :’)
To be content, lower your expectations of people and increase your supplications to God.

On the day none will benefit from wealth or children
but only him who comes to Allah with a pure heart.
— Surat Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89
All people go to Allah after their death, but the happy person is the one who goes to Allah while still alive.

Our trials don’t define us. How we handle our trials is what defines us.

Therefore, endure with graceful patience. (70:5)
And if a person were given all of the world and what is in it, it would not fill this emptiness.
Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah (via islamic-art-and-quotes)
Sometimes when I’m making dua to Allah for so many things at once I almost start holding myself back because I feel as though I’m asking for far too much. But then I remember this verse and I keep going and I keep asking for more. The truth is Allah doesn’t get sick of hearing you ask for things nor is it difficult for him to give you that which you ask for. It is a matter of if it is good for you. Always remember that no matter how absurd or difficult your request may sound it is easy for Allah.
We all need to talk to Allah a bit more.
Don’t let your busy schedule in life stop you from missing your Salāh or delaying Salāh. Give more priority for your meeting with your Lord.

Allah still loves and shows mercy to those who disobey Him. So imagine how much He loves those who obey him. Please stay positive. Allah is with you!
If Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) visited you just for a day or two,
If he came unexpectedly I wonder what you would do.
Oh, I know you’d give your nicest room to such an honoured guest.
And all the food you’d serve him would be the very best.
And you would keep assuring him, your glad to have him there.
That serving him in your home, is joy beyond compare.
But… when you saw him coming, Would you meet him at the door, with arms outstretched to your visitor?
Or… would you have to change your clothes before you let him in?
Or hide some magazines and put the Qur'an where they had been?
Would you still watch the same movies, on your T.V set?
Or would you switch it off, before he got upset?
Would you turn off the radio and hope he hadn’t heard?
Or wish you hadn’t uttered that last hasty word?
Would your mobile ringtone be the same? Or would that lead you to shame?
Would you allow him see your profile Or would that be very vile?
Would you hide all your magazines and music dvds? And instead take Islamic books and cds out?
Could you let him walk right in, or would you have to rush about?
And I wonder if the Prophet (peace be upon him) spent a day or two with you,
Would you go right on doing, The things you always do?
Would you go on saying, the things you always say?
Would life for you continue, as it does from day to day?
Would your family squabbles, keep up their usual pace,
Would you keep up each and every prayer without putting on a frown?
And would you always jump up early for prayer at dawn?
Would you sing the songs you always sing?
And read the books you read? And let him know the things like facebook on which, your mind and spirit fed?
Would you take the Prophet (peace be upon him) with you everywhere you plan to go?
Or, would you maybe change your plans, just for a day or so?
Would you be glad to have him meet your very closest friends?
Or, would you hope they stay away until his visit ends?
Would you be glad to have him stay Forever on and on…
Or would you sigh with great relief when he at last was gone?
It might be interesting to know, the things that you would do
If Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) , in person, came to spend some time with you.
So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.
Qur'an, (2:152) (via reverthelp)
✒ None Can Benefit Or Harm You Except That Allāh Has Decreed It Already
The Messenger of Allāh Ṣallallāhu-‘Alaihi Wa Sallam said:
“And know that if all the people were to come together so that they can benefit you with a thing; they WOULD NOT be able to benefit you with anything except that Allāh had written it for you (already) and if all of them were to gather so that they can harm you with a thing; they WOULD NOT be able to harm you with anything except that Allāh had written it for you (already), the pens have been lifted and the pages are dry (i.e the Decree of Allāh has been ordained).”
Have you ever heard anything more clear and more complete?
Allah wishes to make clear (what is lawful and what is unlawful) to you, and to show you the ways of those before you, and accept your repentance, and Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise.
