Claude VonStroke: Driven by the importunity from his wife, Claude Vonstroke took the musical chance of a lifetime: "She said, “I’ll give you one year to make this record label work. I’ll pay the rent, food and bills. If you make $XX amount of dollars you can do it forever. If you don’t, you have to go back to work for corporate America the rest of your life.”  We came to the agreement, we can't thank his wife enough!  When it comes to electronic music, there are times when tracks feel so heavy sounds seem lost, but Vonstroke takes cognizance of the detail of each musical vibration and mechanical wave that will pull together into a smooth conglomeration.  With Urban Animal you can see his music appeals to more than just the electronic music fans.  There are loops of stylish rhythmics and deep beats reminiscent to hip hop; "Oakland Rope"is full of fast-paced beats and catchy lyricism from MC Mr. Fox, but a musical hook from London-based vocalist Py pulls you back in before you get lost in the rushing movement.  One can undoubtedly appreciate the genre fusions.  With the well-rounded foundation Vonstroke has built upon, his music can definitely transition back and forth between dark, crowded clubs and the main stage.  Ha! Take that Corporate America, you didn't win this one!
