Your sign for 'granite' is the same as the one for 'somehow'? (I mean, 'well' is either 'physically/mentally healthy, as opposed to ill', a particle conveying the speaker's attitude towards their utterance, or a structure for drawing oil, water, etc. out of the ground.)

If you need good resources on wordbuilding, I suggest looking at Swadesh lists or William Anis' Conlanger's Thesaurus.

This is an interesting idea. The glyphs aren't very aesthetically pleasing, and I question the ease with which they could be written quickly enough to make this system convenient for everyday use.

I think that using topological equivalence to define the glyphs would make them easier to read...

You've got to get a good riffle or your deck won't bridge properly.

~My girlfriend, teaching me how to shuffle cards the right way. However, the words 'riffle', 'deck', and 'bridge' are so ambiguous as to make the sentence nearly meaningless out of context. "You've got to get a good X or your Y won't Z properly" can be turned into a statement about the technical aspects of almost anything, given the right values of X, Y, and Z.

Monotheism and paranoia

My intuition tells me those two things, monotheism and paranoia are equal to each other. If you believe in entity with giant power, telling you how to live and threatening with hell you know you have a right to feel fear. God himself isn’t called the “enlightened”, his only distinctive feature is totalitarian power to do what he wants and send whoever he desire to heaven or hell. He is a representation of Pharaoh, a king, someone with aristocratic power. But he isn’t one of them.
