Ok but why is no one actually talking about the fact that Kai x Cinder actually has potential?

Like, potential as a toxic ship that can tell a good story

It’s kinda like Ras x Lloyd, but also very different, I’ll do my best to explain

I’ve noticed while actually paying attention to Cinder’s behavior, he kinda acts a bit like Kai in a weird way

Like, Cinder is what I imagine Kai would be like if he was an evil loser asshole

I like the idea of Cinder being frustrated by losing to Kai and constantly picking fights with him to try and beat him (and never winning) and at some point figuring out that their both actually Kinda similar and wanting Kai to switch sides (and catching feelings)

And when Kai refuses, it becomes a whole song and dance of Cinder badly flirting and saying how cool it is being evil, meanwhile Kai is annoyed and done with his BS

Like, I’ve seen some people portray them as Kai flirting and Cinder being dismissive, but it would be way more interesting and funny the other way around, with Kai just being followed around by this loser trying to make him join his emo band

Honestly it’s a CRIME that this ship only has 3 fics on AO3, they actually have potential and no one is talking about it

1. LLOYD GARMADON AND TARA-KAL

The rightful owner of the life power, whom got stripped out of her own identity in the name of calming the endless war. Now, needing her full power back to bring up piece in both worlds, as Goddess of Life and Death Circle, she must prepare her dear friends for new challenging fight with new and old enemies.

Yet, as she’s locked inside of her own staff, Tara needs to lure The Green Ninja, to fight her own element to be ready for The Great War that is approaching.

2. COLE AND RAFIY-SHA

In madness of losing his twin sister, The God of Harmony and Equality breaks down completely. Without the ground of equality, the life circle, he cannot use his power properly, which drives him insane. With remaining warriors and The King, Rafiy is ready to face the elemental masters to be closer than ever to bring up piece and re building harmony for all.

He picked Cole as his target, the earth ninja isn’t aware that the God was present in his life before, back when Cole was only a child. Without that knowledge, their relationship is full of heat and misunderstanding, and with that dangerous mix of their different personalities, only disasters shall happen.

3. KAI AND ALI/ THE PHANTOM

After successfully winning a fight against source dragon, Ali driven by anger and overwhelming rage mixed with sadness is ready to hit The Source Dragon where it will hurt the most. As a Commander of Mauta Warriors, he’s ready to bring justice of all the creatures and people that got lost because of dragons, including his beloved children and her majesty.

Unfortunately, as he gets off his Phantom alter ego, he gets himself amused by a fire ninja, that shares mulat feelings towards the mysterious new man with glasses. Ali presented as regular man, tries his best to keep up with his double identity, as a loving sweetheart for Kai and enemy for red ninja. Only thing is simple, Kai can’t find out.

4. ZANE AND FLEGIS (MORUS)

A crow that hides himself behind angel appearance. Flegis breaks down after his only true love (Tara) and their children’s disappearance, taking cover in only way a people of the light side will be able to trust him. As his feathers turn white, and his hair blond, he begins to look for any clues how to fix everything and bring the old matters and harmony back.

Thanks to his bird nature, he quickly notices the ice ninja, his shinny coating is impossible to miss by The King. Flegis in his newly form tries to convince Zane to help him bring up justice to this world, impressed by his intelligence, even proposing a place for him and P.I.X.A.L. back in his homeland. But will Zane resist and help the ones who can’t help themselves? Or will he stay loyal to others and defeats the enemy?

5. JAY WALKER AND NONTLE

Retired blinded warrior might seem useless for other kingdoms. But not in the eyes of her and his majesty’s. Their respect towards their own people is unimaginable. With that said, Nontle was able to get back into her position as elite warrior on side with The Commander. Even if she isn’t able to fight with sword, her shield as defense is way more powerful, because she can protect not only herself but others.

With need to bring her majesty back, Nontle forces herself to learn how to fight without seeing the enemy. For her luck, the ninja that she will fight against is really talkative. But her kindness gets better of her, as she calmly defeated the lighting ninja, and still helped him to understand the beauty of new memories. Still, her annoyance towards Jay sometimes get better of her, ready to silent the ninja for once.

6. NYA AND ASHI

As former assassin that was supposed to slay The King with her younger brother. Ashi and V got forgiven and got second chance, that both of them cherish more than anything. So now, when everything is gone. Ashi can only help her people to bring her majesty back and put everything back in place!

Unfortunately, she doesn’t stay under covered for long, as the water ninja discovers the truth and who Ashi actually is. Ready to fight, Nya gets stopped by Ashi herself, as she explains the true colors behind the history of Source Dragons. With elemental master ally on her side, Ashi gets her hopes up…

Soon, will make some cool short bios for them! Oh my babies
