have you guys seen japanese sables. it’s important to me that you see these lil fellas

they’re a specific and isolated subspecies of the regular sable (a small, carnivorous animal from the marten family) found primarily in hokkaido, japan. japanese sables have a lighter and more yellowish coat, as opposed the typical colors for regular sables, which varies from light brown to nearly black. japanese sables also have black feet and a black face/tail. the scientific name for them is martes zibellina brachyura.

this species is similar to japanese martens, but different. the japanese marten has golden-brown fur with a dark face, tail, and legs, while the japanese sable is a paler creamy-yellow close to white in the face with black feet, legs, and tail.
