The soft smiles as they realize they’re finally back to how they were back in the day. It’s so cute, you almost forget she stabbed them a day earlier.

Imma need these three to just stay bffs and stop killing each other. Please, this friendship is so much more wholesome than I expected.

I don’t normally break down a scene like this but this scene was EVERYTHING. After ep 8′s scene in the rain, Rang’s stopped fighting and accepts that he loves her. This whole scene just expands fully on what I said before about how different Rang always was with Yeo Hee. Once he stopped fighting his feelings, he really just dropped all his walls with her.

Look at how he softly smiles at her. And how well he understood that she needed to see the ocean.

He easily accepts her hugs now, even though he’s a bit awkward with it.

Rang automatically holds out his hand for her to take when she asks to take a walk. He just does it. It’s natural.

When he talks about Lee Yeon, she’s sad about her lack of family. HE SAYS HE’LL BE HER FAMILY. He’ll quit the gang, and open a recording studio for her. Because her dream is to be a singer. He’s making plans with her, though he knows in the future he sacrifices himself for Yeon. He still sees a future with her.

You can see his dimples when he smiles at her now.

HE FROLICS IN THE OCEAN. Rang is so rarely free and playful. He’s laughing, and smiling with her.

Look at his smile. LOOOOOOOOK AT IT. It just gets bigger and bigger.

And them standing together holding hands.

Yeon coming back to 1938 has to change the future for Rang. Rang has mended his relationship with Yeon and through that, he’s met Yeo Hee. It just changes everything. Why do all this and not have it be happy for Rang and Yeo Hee? I’ve seen the promo and I don’t want to talk about it. (But sqeee they are wearing the rings). Honest to god, I’m feeling a bit of residual trauma from TTEOTM ending.
